  • Additive for improving performance of liquid hydrocarbon fuels

    Abstract: Described herein is an additive to hydrocarbon fuels such as gasoline, diesel fuel and the like used, for example, in vehicles and furnaces. The fuel comprises a mixutre of a low molecular weight alcohol, an aliphatic ester, an aromatic hydrocarbon, a halogenated alkene, a hydroxy unsaturated vegetable oil and an aliphatic hydrocarbon. Use of the additive improves fuel efficiency and provides cleaner burning, i.e., reduces engine deposits.
