Abstract: The present invention provides a sunscreen composition comprising one or more oil soluble UV filters, at least about 20 weight percent ethanol, about 13.5 weight percent or less of a low viscosity silicone having a viscosity of at least 20 centistokes, and at least about 23 weight percent of a super low viscosity silicone having a viscosity up to about 15 centistokes, wherein the composition is anhydrous and transparent.
Abstract: The present invention generally relates to dressings such as bandages or tapes having improved extensibility and conformability to human skin and joints.
Abstract: The present invention generally relates to dressings such as bandages or tapes having improved extensibility and conformability to human skin and joints.
Abstract: Leave-on compositions to be applied to the skin, which after five minutes post-application provides an improved low residue level, where the composition includes an emulsifier having a particular HLB value and an emollient present in a weight amount that is equal to or greater than the weight amount of the emulsifier.

Abstract: A handheld misting device includes a sonic generator, a power source coupled to the sonic generator, at least one reservoir containing a first liquid, and a conduit from the at least one reservoir. The sonic generator includes a converter and an elongate horn comprising a first horn section coupled to the converter and a second horn section physically connected to and removable from the first horn section. Sonic energy delivered to the first horn section is conducted to the second horn section. The conduit transports liquid from the at least one reservoir to the second horn section to a delivery opening distal the first horn section.
Abstract: A process capable of commercial scale manufacturing of inexpensive, multilayered shaped film product, without the waste of die-cutting and which products are capable of use independent of a supporting structure on which they are formed, includes placing a first mask over a substrate; delivering a first film-forming composition through the first mask to form a first raw shape on the substrate; removing the first mask; placing a second mask over the first raw shape; delivering a second film-forming composition through the second mask to form a second raw shape on the first raw shape; removing the second mask; and solidifying the first and second raw shapes to provide the shaped film product disposed on the substrate.
Abstract: An array of differing microneedles can be accurately achieved including a film having first and second, outwardly facing major surfaces. The first, outwardly facing major surface has a plurality of stratum corneum piercing microneedles extending therefrom, and the plurality of microneedles includes a plurality of first microneedles having a first benefit agent and a plurality of second microneedles having a second benefit agent.

Abstract: The present invention relates to compositions providing improved preservative efficacy. The present invention further relates to polyquaternium compound containing compositions having improved the antifungal activity. In certain embodiments, the present invention relates to ophthalmic compositions comprising a polyquaternium compound, a polyol or combination of polyols, borate compound, and an antimicrobial mixture comprising electrolytes and nutrients.
Abstract: A process capable of commercial scale manufacturing of inexpensive, shaped film products includes placing a mask over a substrate; delivering a film-forming composition through a nozzle to form a raw shape on the substrate; removing the mask; and solidifying the film-forming composition to provide the shaped film product disposed on the substrate. The mask has a delivery surface and an opposite substrate-facing surface and at least one aperture having a design corresponding to the desired shaped film product. The nozzle is disposed in sealing engagement with the delivery surface of the mask to the at least one aperture of the mask during delivery of the film-forming composition.
