Abstract: A fluid delivery system for a cleaning tool. In one embodiment, the fluid delivery system includes a reservoir, a first conduit and a second conduit coupled to the reservoir and adapted to selectively dispense fluid from the reservoir, wherein an end of the second conduit is moveable relative to the first conduit to dispense fluid in a plurality of directions. In another embodiment, the fluid delivery system includes a reservoir adapted to contain at least one fluid, a first conduit coupled to the reservoir adapted to selectively dispense fluid from the reservoir, and a second conduit coupled to the reservoir adapted to selectively dispense fluid from the reservoir independent of the first conduit. In another embodiment, the fluid delivery system has a reservoir with a first and second outlet wherein the second outlet selectively dispenses fluid from the reservoir independent of the first outlet.
Abstract: Various carcass cleaning apparatuses and methods are described and illustrated, wherein carcasses can be cleaned by at least partially immersing carcasses within reservoirs moved by a conveyor. The reservoirs can be filled with cleaning fluid, receive carcasses to immerse the carcasses in the fluid, and can then be drained of such fluid, wherein the drained fluid can be collected, filtered, and supplied again to reservoirs for immersing and cleaning additional carcasses.

Abstract: A method of determining one or more operational parameters of a washing system having a wash tank to which water and material are added. In one embodiment, the method includes monitoring a concentration of material, which is decreased at least partially due to water being added to the wash tank. The method also includes maintaining the concentration of material by dispensing material into the wash tank during a material dispensing operation. Additionally, the method includes generating a parameter indicative of a rate at which the material is dispensed during the material dispensing operation. The method also includes determining a presence of a water flow abnormality based at least partially on the generated parameter.

Abstract: A multi-station dispensing apparatus which affords an automatic flow rate for the product to be dispensed. It also provides a single control knob which can select from several different chemical concentrates to be diluted and dispensed. In addition, a bottle can be filled by single-handed operation as well as a bucket without the need to reset the control knob.

Abstract: The present invention provides a concentrated neutral liquid detergent composition for hard surfaces, which has excellent detergency and foaming property, excellent stability in storage, and excellent ability to prevent repeated adhesion of contaminants to the washed surface, the composition being advantageously suitable for manual washing of tableware and cooking utensils. A concentrated neutral detergent composition for hard surfaces, comprising (A) 0.1 to 14 wt % of an alkanesulfonic acid salt; (B) 12 to 40 wt % of a polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether; (C) 10 to 40 wt % of an alkyl polyglucoside; and (D) water.
Abstract: A device and method for regulating the pressure between a floor cleaning implement (22) and a floor, wherein the floor cleaning implement (22) is coupled to a floor cleaning machine (10). The device of one embodiment comprises a cantilevered arm (28) coupled to the floor cleaning machine (10) and a sensor (30) coupled to the cantilevered arm (28) and positioned to sense deflection or other deformation of the cantilevered arm (28). An actuator (26) is coupled between the cantilevered arm (28) and cleaning implements (22). The actuator (26) is also coupled to the sensor (30) and adapted to receive signals from the sensor (30) to cause actuation of the actuator (26). When pressure other than a predetermined amount causes the cantilevered arm (28) to deform, the sensor (30) senses this deformation and cause the actuator (26) to actuate in a direction that allows the cantilevered arm (28) to return to a position in which the pressure is within the predetermined amount.
Abstract: Floor cleaning machine 1, comprising a cleaning system 2, 3, 4, at least one front wheel 5; 5?; 5a, 5b as well as two rear wheels 6a, 6b, 6a?, 6b? and a drive mechanism 7; 7a, 7b, wherein the drive mechanism is an electric mono wheel drive and wherein the operator 8 is placed on the machine, characterized in that the operator is standing on a platform 9 which is located above the geometrical axis Z between the two rear wheels, wherein the maximum vertical distance between the platform and the floor is 200 mm. The front wheel can be a castor wheel 5 and the rear wheels 6a, 6b can be independently driven by drive motors 7a, 7b—instead of one castor wheel, two independent castor wheels 5a, 5b can be provided. The front wheel can also be a steered wheel 5? which is powered by a drive 7 and the rear wheels 6a?, 6b? can be independently suspended and not driven.
