Abstract: A pipe joint device configured to interconnect two pipes to be inserted therein through openings of both opened ends thereof including a joint main body and a joint assembly disposed in the joint main body is provided. The joint main body includes a small-diameter part formed at a central part and large-diameter parts formed at both sides of the small-diameter part. Each of the large-diameter parts has a first horizontal part, a diameter-reduced part of which a diameter gradually decreases from the first horizontal part toward the opening, and a second horizontal part extending horizontally from the diameter-reduced part toward the opening. A portion of each of the second horizontal parts is configured as a curled part inclined toward an outer-diameter direction and the opening of the pipe joint device and then again inclined toward an inner-diameter direction and the opening and having a mountain-shaped section as a whole.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for interconnecting pipes, and a method for manufacturing a jaw of a jaw holder An apparatus/method are provided. The pipe connecting apparatus includes a pipe connecting member installed at a location where two pipes are interconnected, one or more jaw holder that are fixedly inserted into respective opposite end portions of the pipe connecting member in a state where they are respectively interposed between the pipe connecting member and the pipe and between the pipe connecting member and the pipe and provided with a plurality of jaw mounting holes that are formed along an outer circumference and spaced apart from each other at predetermined intervals, one or more jaws that are pivotally inserted into the respective jaw mounting holes and press and fix the pipes inserted into the jaw holders by being depressed by an inner wall of the pipe connecting member, and one or more elastic members that are installed in the pipe connecting member to elastically support the jaws.

Abstract: A pipe coupling, which enables pipes to be assembled with the pipe coupling by an one-touch operation while maintaining the liquid-tightness at jointing portions. In the pipe coupling, a connection tube has holding shoulders formed at opposite predetermined inner portions of the connection tube and maximum diameter portions formed at both side portions of the connection tube outside of the holding shoulders. The connection tube has an inner diameter decreasing in a direction toward both mouths of the connection tube from the maximum diameter portions. Snap rings are inserted inside of the mouths of the connection tube in a compressed state. Packing members are tightly disposed in each of the maximum diameter portions. Jaw couplings are inserted in the mouths of the connection tube and each of the jaw couplings are assembled with a plurality of fixing jaws and having engaging protuberances. The fixing jaws are arranged in a circumferential direction of each of the jaw couplings.

Abstract: Disclosed is a pipe coupling, which can connect pipes in a sealed condition. The pipe coupling includes: a connector body having pipe locking jaws having the same diameter as the inner diameter of a pipe inserted into the pipe coupling, and a taper part gradually reducing the inside space toward a free end of the pipe coupling and opened at a portion of the outer circumference in which a snap ring insertion hole is formed; a packing member inserted and mounted at the lower end of the taper part; a jaw coupling inserted and mounted into the taper part, and having a number of coupling holes for coupling fixing jaws and a seating hole formed in the upper portion thereof; a snap ring located in the seating hole of the jaw coupling, the outer circumference of the snap ring being compressed and inserted into the snap ring insertion hole, both ends of the snap ring being bended in a separated condition and exposed to the outside; and an elastic member interposed between the packing member and the jaw coupling.
