Publication number: 20130187075Abstract: A system for delivering propane from an outdoor liquid propane storage tank to a building structure is provided having a first pressure regulator mountable to an outdoor liquid propane storage tank, a metallic fuel line extending from the storage tank to the building structure, a second pressure regulator mountable to the building structure, and a union valve. The union valve mounted adjacent the second pressure regulator in the fluid flow path between the fuel line second end and the second regulator inlet, and having an ON and OFF position to enable the propane to be quickly turned off. The union valve including an integral dielectric member isolating the fuel line from the second fuel pressure regulator inlet, to provide a dielectric break between the building and the fuel line, without using a separate non electrically conductive fuel line section.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 21, 2013Publication date: July 25, 2013Applicant: JoMar International, Ltd.Inventor: Paul Craig

Publication number: 20110062367Abstract: A valve assembly is provided having two valve sections, each having a tubular passageway portion and when joined together, defining a ball cavity in communication with the tubular passageways. One of the body sections is provided with an inlet/outlet in communication with the ball cavity as well as a spindle flange. An elongate spindle extends through the spindle flange projecting into the ball cavity region to rotate a spherical ball element between an open and a bypass position. The ball valve has a primary elongate passage which interconnects the two tubular passage portions in the valve body sections when the ball valve is in the open position. When the ball valve is rotated to the bypass position, the tubular passage portion of one of the ball body sections is sealed closed while the other tubular passage portion communicates with an internal bypass port within the ball valve which in turn, communicates with the auxiliary inlet/outlet.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 20, 2010Publication date: March 17, 2011Applicants: JOMAR INTERNATIONAL LTD., FRATELLI PETTINAROLI S.P.A. Patent number: 5483990Abstract: A valve adapted for insertion in a pressurized fluid flow line for blocking and sealing the flow of fluid through the line without disconnecting the line and to maintain the pressure in the upstream end of the line. The valve includes two body portions which may be clamped on the fluid flow line to form a valve body in which is adjustably mounted an elongated tubular outer shaft, and an elongated cylindrical inner shaft that is rotatably mounted through the tubular outer shaft and carries an annular hole cutter and a tubular seal. The inner shaft is rotatable for driving the annular hole cutter through the line and the outer shaft is rotatable for advancing the inner shaft and annular hole cutter and for positioning the tubular seal in the hole cut through the line to block and seal flow through the downstream portion of the line.Type: GrantFiled: April 27, 1995Date of Patent: January 16, 1996Assignee: Jomar International, Ltd.Inventor: Joseph R. Patent number: 5369815Abstract: A sink strainer having a hollow strainer body with an open upper end with an outlet member at the lower end thereof on which is formed an annular valve seat. A basket strainer is operatively mounted in the strainer body and it is movable between an open and closed position. The basket strainer includes a valve stem which is movable relative to the basket strainer and which carries a valve provided with a detachable peripheral elastomeric seal for seating engagement on the valve seat on the outlet member.Type: GrantFiled: October 12, 1993Date of Patent: December 6, 1994Assignee: Jomar International, Ltd.Inventor: Joseph R. Patent number: 4692948Abstract: A sink strainer having a hollow strainer body with an open upper end and an outlet portion at the lower end thereof in which is carried an outlet drainage plate. A basket strainer is operatively mounted in the strainer body and it is movable between an open position and a closed position. A permanent magnet means is provided to assist the water in a sink to create of a strong sealing action between the basket strainer and the strainer body outlet plate when the basket strainer is in the closed position.Type: GrantFiled: December 22, 1986Date of Patent: September 15, 1987Assignee: Jomar International, Ltd.Inventor: Joseph R.
