Abstract: A non-disconnect drop-in ball bearing slide assembly adapted to support an object, such as a computer server, includes a stationary slide and an intermediate slide slidably connected to the stationary slide with at least one ball bearing interposed between the intermediate slide and the stationary slide. A ball bearing retainer has a top member and a base member, the top and base members extending along a length, with a first plurality of ball bearings extending along the length of the base member, and a second plurality of ball bearings extending along at least a portion of the length of the top member. The non-disconnect drop-in ball bearing assembly also includes a moveable slide extending along a length and having a top rail and a bottom rail. The moveable slide has at least one slot formed on the top rail for receiving a mounting post of an object, such as a server or server mounting arm.
Abstract: A cable management device for managing cables extending between a support rack and an object slideable in and out of the support rack includes a support having a stop member and a mounting surface that is removably fastenable to the support rack. A first elongate member extends between a proximal end and a distal end and is pivotably fastened to the support at the proximal end. A second elongate member extends between a proximal end and a distal end, the proximal end of the second elongate member pivotably fastened to the distal end of the first elongate member. The first and second elongate members are movable from a folded position where the elongate members are substantially adjacent each other to an unfolded position, wherein the stop member limits the rotation of the first elongate member between the folded and unfolded positions to about ninety degrees.
Abstract: A slide assembly including a first slide segment, a second slide segment, and a third slide segment. A bearing assembly is provided between the second slide segment and the third slide segment. A lock arm extends from the third slide segment and is engageable with an engagement surface of the second slide segment to limit movement of the third slide segment with respect to the second slide segment. A controller is associated with the second slide segment and comprises a locking portion and an actuator portion. The locking portion extends through an opening in a side wall of the second slide segment towards the bearing retainer. The locking portion is selectively engageable with the bearing retainer to limit movement of the bearing assembly. The actuator extends through an opening in a side wall of the second slide segment between the first slide segment and the lock arm to actuate the lock arm and thereby disengage it from the engagement surface when the slide assembly is retracted.
