Abstract: Slide assemblies that include at least an inner slide segment and an outer slide segment. Many of the slide assemblies also include an intermediate slide segment interposed between the inner slide segment and the outer slide segment. The outer slide segment is constructed from a bent piece of material having a substantially uniform wall thickness. The outer slide segment is formed to have a wall portion, an upper portion and a lower portion. Each of the upper portion and lower portion include two layers of the piece of material. A mounting assembly for a slide assembly includes at least one bracket having a first pin and a second pin movable relative to the first pin. • Patent number: 9565939
Abstract: An undermount slide assembly includes an outer slide segment, an intermediate slide segment and an inner slide segment. The outer slide segment has a web, a first flange and a second flange. The web defines an upper surface that is mountable to a first object. The intermediate slide segment has a web, a first flange and a second flange. The web is received within a space defined between the first and second flanges of the outer slide segment. At least portions of the first and second flanges of the intermediate slide segment extend below the first and second flanges of the outer slide segment. The web and the first and second flanges of the intermediate slide segment define a space therebetween. An inner slide segment is received within the space defined between the web and the first and second flanges of the intermediate slide segment.

  • Patent number: 9486077
Abstract: A slide assembly includes an outer slide segment, preferably at least one intermediate slide segment and an inner slide segment. An automatic closure arrangement applies a closing force to one or both of the inner and intermediate slide segments. In some configurations, a dampening arrangement dampens at least a portion of the travel of the slide assembly, such as the end portion of the closing travel of the slide assembly. The automatic closure arrangement can include two biasing elements, such as upper and lower constant force springs. The closure force of the constant force springs can be applied directly to the intermediate slide segment and the inner slide segment can be coupled for closing movement to the intermediate slide segment.

  • Publication number: 20130075561
Abstract: A slide assembly with tilt mount includes an outer slide segment defining a first length and an inner slide segment slidably engaged with the outer slide segment. The inner slide segment defines a second length that is less than said first length. A mount is carried by the inner slide segment and includes a mounting bracket configured to support a piece of electronic equipment, such as a monitor. At least one pivot assembly is interposed between the mount and the inner slide segment. The at least one pivot assembly permits the mount to be tilted relative to the inner slide segment. Preferably, the slide assembly permits at least four locked positions of the monitor or other electronic equipment.

  • Patent number: 8277002
Abstract: A slide assembly with a self-closing mechanism that includes a dampening mechanism. In one arrangement, the slide assembly includes an inner slide segment slidably coupled to an outer slide segment. The self-closing mechanism is configured to move the inner slide segment towards a retracted position when the inner segment is moved to within a predetermined distance from the retracted position. The slide assembly can also include a latch which is engaged during the closing process and functions to trigger the self-closing and dampening. In an arrangement, the slide assembly has a maximum width dimension of about 0.4 inches or less, taking into account normal manufacturing variations. In an arrangement, a movable portion of the self-closing mechanism slidably engages a bearing race of the outer segment.
