Abstract: A magnetic fluid display panel includes a front plate and a rear plate, separated from each other, first electrodes arranged in linear strips on the inner surface of the rear plate in a first direction, second electrodes arranged in strips in a direction perpendicular to the first electrodes and electrically insulated from the first electrodes, pixel electrodes in a pattern at intersecting points of the first electrodes and the second electrodes, having light transmission areas through which light can pass, and electrically connected to adjacent first and second electrodes for forming a magnetic field around the pixel electrodes, and a magnetic fluid on the inner surface of the rear plate in the vicinity of the pixel electrodes. The display panel can be easily manufactured, thus reducing manufacturing costs. In particular, a moving color picture can be easily produced by the display panel.
