Patent number: 5265973Abstract: A device (1) serves for connecting accessory parts (2) to formwork panels, compensating members or suchlike formwork members having stiffening webs or stiffening profiles (3) on their side averted form the forming surface. The device (1) has an essentially U-shaped cross section, the U-arms (4) having fastening locations (5), preferably bores, for the accessory parts (2) such as booms, adjustable props, platform brackets or the like, and in the position of use the U-crosspiece (6) butting and being drawn fast against a stiffening profile (3) and above all against a cross web (3b) provided on this profile (3).Type: GrantFiled: May 13, 1991Date of Patent: November 30, 1993Assignee: Josef MaierInventor: Johann Badstieber

Patent number: 5160640Abstract: A formwork panel has a face plate which is mounted on a frame made up of structural shapes. The panel is reinforced by a set of spaced, parallel reinforcing beams mounted on the back of the face plate. Additional beams are disposed between selected pairs of reinforcing beams. The additional beams are perpendicular to the reinforcing beams and are spaced from the frame. Each additional beam is provided with an opening which registers with a corresponding opening in the face plate. The registering openings receive tie rods which connect two facing formwork panels to one another so as to define a pouring space for concrete.Type: GrantFiled: May 13, 1991Date of Patent: November 3, 1992Assignee: Josef MaierInventor: Johann Badstieber

Patent number: 5146816Abstract: A clamp for connecting a pair of formwork panels which are to be disposed side-by-side in a common plane has two clamping members. Each of the clamping members includes a clamping arm for urging the panels together and an adjusting arm which is approximately perpendicular to the respective clamping arm. The clamping members are pivotally mounted on a U-shaped support and the adjusting arms are disposed internally of the support with their free ends overlapping. The clamping arms project from the support and are located on the same side of the latter as the transverse web bridging the legs of the support. The legs are provided with registering openings which are elongated transversely of the adjusting arms. A pivot extends through the overlapping ends of the adjusting arms and into the openings. The pivot is guided by the openings for movement transversely of the adjusting arms and carries an eccentric disc which is arranged to bear against the transverse web of the support.Type: GrantFiled: May 13, 1991Date of Patent: September 15, 1992Assignee: Josef MaierInventor: Johann Badstieber

Patent number: 5064163Abstract: A form for the pouring of concrete has first and second panels which are disposed edge-to-edge. Each of the panels has a flange projecting from the major surface of the respective panel and the flanges have confronting first surfaces which are perpendicular to the major surfaces of the panels and are designed to abut one another. The flanges have second surfaces which face away from the first surfaces and the second surfaces are inclined to the major surfaces of the panels so that the flanges narrow in a direction away from the panels. A clamping element designed to embrace the flanges is pivotally mounted on the first panel and is movable between a released position and a clamping position in which it embraces the flanges. The second panel carries an abutment and the clamping element has a free end which is located between the abutment and the flange of the second panel in the clamping position.Type: GrantFiled: January 29, 1990Date of Patent: November 12, 1991Assignee: Josef MaierInventor: Josef Merkel

Patent number: 4821995Abstract: A clip for abutting marginal flanges of forms for formworks which are used for the pouring of concrete has a cylindrical housing for two slidable arcuate clamping elements at opposite sides of a radially extending recess for the flanges. A wedge is movable between those end portions of the clamping elements which are remote from the recess to urge the elements against the exposed sides of the flanges. The wedge can be slidably coupled to the clamping elements so that it can urge the elements against or disengage the elements from the flanges in the recess.Type: GrantFiled: July 28, 1988Date of Patent: April 18, 1989Assignee: Josef MaierInventor: Josef Merkel

Patent number: 4768748Abstract: A formwork wherein the marginal portions of neighboring forms are attracted to each other by magnets. The rear sides of the forms can carry additional magnets for attachment of braces, beams, rods and like parts. The magnets can be assisted by mechanical coupling elements in the form of tongues and grooves, bolts, hooks, bolts and nuts or like parts. Each magnet can be recessed into the marginal portion of the respective form or is separably secured thereto by one or more elastic clips or the like.Type: GrantFiled: April 15, 1987Date of Patent: September 6, 1988Assignee: Josef MaierInventors: Herbert Leimkuhler, Barbara R.
