Abstract: The centrifuge includes a drive shaft (3), a rotor (1) which can be mounted removably on the drive shaft, and a device (6) for providing axial immobilization of the rotor (1) with respect to the shaft (3). This device includes a male element (10) loaded elastically and capable of interacting with a recess (11) of the shaft (3), and it is characterized in that the male element (10) is mounted on the rotor (1) and that an unlocking device (12) which can be actuated from the outside of the rotor and allow the said male element (10) to be placed in a position disengaged from the female element (11) are provided.
Abstract: Method of treatment by centrifuging of a liquid packaged in flexible-walled bags connected to at least one filter. According to the method, the filter (2) is placed in the middle of the confinement space (5, 5a) such that the large faces of the filter (2) are parallel to the centrifuging axis (3), and bags (1) are placed on either side of said filter (2) so that they are in contact with the latter.

Abstract: A centrifuge comprising a rotor drive shaft including a flexible shaft surrounded by a sheath. The flexible shaft and the sheath are both rotationally secured at a first end. A second end of the flexible shaft extends beyond a second end of the sheath. A head is adapted to receive a rotor of the centrifuge. The head is rotationally secured to the second end of the flexible shaft. A member damps and limits a radial displacement of the flexible shaft with respect to the sheath. The damping and limiting member comprises an annular seal made from an elastic material. The annular seal is axially arranged about the flexible shaft and the sheath at the same level as and close to the head. A skirt is formed on head and surrounds the second end of the sheath. The skirt has an internal annular groove for receiving damping and limiting member. The skirt includes a lower transverse wall limiting the annular groove.
Abstract: The centrifugal evaporator-concentrator includes a central tubular pivot (18) surmounted by a nozzle (35) and constituting the pivot axis of a rotor (9) rotating in a vessel (8) closed by a cover (11). With the rotor rotating in the partial vacuum created by a vacuum pump (33), a small quantity of gas or air is temporarily and periodically admitted into the vessel, this gas being heated by a heating resistor (38) inside the vessel for the purpose of heating by conduction the specimens to be concentrated and of accelerating the rate of evaporation.
Abstract: Improvement in closing covers of apparatuses such as concentrators-evaporators, ultracentrifugal and centrifugal apparatuses, in which a centrifugal rotor rotates in an enclosure in which a vacuum may be established. The cover is formed by a plate (11) which is guided in translation by projections (14a, 14b) traveling in guide rails (12) so as to maintain the cover in a horizontal position when it overlies the opening and allow the pivoting of the cover when it has been displaced in its plane to a releasing position.

Abstract: The invention relates to a system for detecting the incomplete closure of the doors of a chamber with at least two doors (14, 16), one an inner door and the other an outer door, arranged one behind the other in front of an orifice of the said chamber and mounted pivotally between an open position and a closed position about two parallel pivot axes (18, 24) respectively.The detection system comprises an active element (34) capable of causing an action in a particular direction and a sensor element (36) sensitive to the said action, the said elements being fastened one to the inner door (14) and the other to the outer door (16) at a point located opposite the other element, in such a way that the sensor element is in the line of action of the active element only when the two doors are closed correctly.
