Abstract: A modular salvage system includes first and second inflatable lifting cushions, a connecting collar on an upper side and underside and between each successive lifting cushion for enclosing the inflatable lifting cushion. The connecting collar is provided on a peripheral side with attachment points pivotally connectable to first and second radial shackles. The first radial shackle is pivotally connectable to the connecting collar and the other connecting collar includes a coupling segment that is pivotally connectable to a second radial shackle of an uppermost connecting collar. Each coupling segment is connectable in an axial direction to a subsequent uppermost coupling segment by an axial shackle. The axial shackle includes first and second bending-resistant segments between which a flexible segment extends. The tensile strengths of the bending-resistant segments and the flexible segment are substantially equal. Additionally, a related lifting module, container, and method for assembling are provided.

The method may further include receiving an input at a computing device, the input corresponding to at least one of the plurality of tags. The method may also include searching the memory of the computing device to locate at least one of the plurality of cues having at least one tag that corresponds to the input. The method may further include providing a cue having the at least one tag that corresponds to the input to a client device. Abstract: System and method for bartering items between two or more parties using a communications network in which each party accesses a central server via the communications network and provides a list of items they have to trade and want to obtain, a description of the items and any conditions for trade of the items. The lists are stored in a database and links indicating the party's possible trades are automatically created. A search for possible trades between the parties is undertaken using the links and the parties involved in each possible trade are notified to confirm the trade. Upon receipt of confirmation from each party, the trade is processed to completion. Weights may be assigned to the links, representing a degree of similarity between descriptions of items, whereby the search for possible trades is conducted based on the weights of the links.

Abstract: A method and system are disclosed for using verified assessments of employee capabilities in hiring decisions, where the method and system are implemented via applications displayed as icons on a rotatable wheel structure. The verified assessments are of criteria applicable to a group of employees, where the criteria are weighted in accordance with attributes of the group and the hiring decisions depend upon the weighted criteria applied to the assessments of the employee and upon a rating of the group. An arc of the wheel structure is displayed, exposing a subset of applications, the wheel structure being rotatable to expose additional applications within the displayed arc.

Abstract: The invention provides a connector boot having an integral latch release for engaging an operative portion of a latching mechanism of a connector to switch the latching mechanism between a latched position and an unlatched position. In one embodiment, the boot includes a housing having exterior walls that define an internal cavity sized to accept a portion of the connector. The boot includes a latch release cowl that is integrally formed on one of the exterior walls of the housing. The release cowl comprises side walls and an outer wall that joins the side walls to form the cowl. Slots are formed in each of the side walls so as to form a cantilevered beam in a portion of the outer wall. Thus, when the connector is positioned within the internal cavity of the boot, the cantilevered beam of the release cowl is positioned in operative relation over the latching mechanism of the connector.

Abstract: The invention provides a latch release for engaging an operative portion of a latching mechanism of a connector to switch the latching mechanism between a latched position and an unlatched position. In one embodiment, a latch release is provided comprising a housing that is cooperatively associated with the connector so as to be positioned adjacent to the operative portion of the latching mechanism. A beam is pivotably supported by the housing and comprises a front end positioned adjacent to the operative portion of the latching mechanism and a rear end that is spaced from the operative portion of the latching mechanism. In this way, when the rear end of the beam is moved, the beam pivots so that the front end operatively engages the operative portion of the latching mechanism.

Abstract: A cable shielding interconnect is provided that includes a star-anvil having a base and a plurality of radially projecting arms that are circumferentially spaced from one another so as to define a plurality of cable support saddles between the arms. At least two shielded cables, each including a dielectric jacket and at least one shielding member, are positioned within respective ones of the saddles, with each shielding member being electrically and mechanically accessible. A ferrule is positioned in crimped coaxial relation to the star-anvil and the at least two shielded cables are positioned in corresponding ones of the saddles so as to position each of the electrically and mechanically accessible shielding members in electrical communication with the star-anvil. The invention also provides for selective electrical interconnection of shields. A method is also provided for interconnecting cable shielding to a common electrical potential.

The chair includes a seat (42) adapted to be folded into a substantially vertical storage orientation. A locking mechanism retains the seat (42) in a substantially horizontal in-use orientation.
