Abstract: Systems and methods for data usage monitoring in multi-tenancy enabled HADOOP clusters are disclosed. According to one embodiment, a method for monitoring data usage in multi-tenancy enabled HADOOP clusters may include: (1) receiving metadata related to a dataset in one or more multi-tenant clusters; (2) receiving entitlement data for a plurality of users to the dataset; (3) receiving group membership data for the plurality of users; (4) receiving access permissions for the plurality of users to the dataset; (5) receiving audit logs comprising access history for the plurality of users to the dataset; (6) joining the metadata, entitlement data, group membership data, access permissions, and audit logs into a searchable database; (7) receiving a query comprising at least one of a date range, a file, a directory, a user, and a group of users; (8) applying the query to the searchable database; and (9) returning results to the query.

A client device having a graphical user interface (GUI) for receiving user input is configured to run interface applications. The client device is coupled with one or more server devices via a communication network. The one or more server devices provides user interface (UI) metadata. A processor causes a receiver to receive the UI metadata from the one or more server devices; generates, at the client device, a two-dimensional (2D) selectable user experience (UX) element based on the received UI metadata; receives a single action user input to select a single desired field, which conveys two desired actions, from the 2D selectable UX element; and executes the two desired actions based on the selected single desired field from the 2D selectable UX element.

Abstract: Various methods, apparatuses/systems, and media for automatically upgrading an application are disclosed. A processor creates a dynamic machine learning (ML) model; trains the dynamic ML model and scans for SDK upgrade for the application against the dynamic ML model by implementing ML algorithm for predictions. The processor executes the SDK upgrade in response to detecting that the training of the dynamic ML model is completed to trigger the processor to perform the following automated processes: implement the ML algorithm against the trained dynamic ML model to generate predictive results data for deprecated reference corresponding to the application; evaluate the predictive results data to determine whether there is a match for the deprecated reference; and when it is determined that there is a match for the deprecated reference, automatically replace code and upgrade the application to newer version of the programming language specification.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are directed to a “one-click payment” scheme for streamlining customers' online checkout experiences. According to one particular embodiment, a customer can use a computing device to be authenticated and receive a unique, one-time token to make a one-click payment during an online checkout process. The one-time token may be encrypted and directly associated with a payment account which the customer is authorized to access. The online merchant may forward a transaction request including the one-time token and purchase amount to an authorization server which would verify the token and charge the corresponding payment account.

Abstract: In one example, a method for modifying a risk model utility is disclosed. The method includes executing, based on the one or more data objects, a selected risk model utility to generate a risk assessment score. Such execution may be by generating for display a risk model modification user interface to display multiple or plural risk model utilities. Each one of the risk model utilities includes logical risk expressions to generate the risk assessment score. Here, the logical risk expressions may be modifiable. The one or more data objects can store the selected risk model utility and any modifications of the logical risk expressions associated with the selected risk model utility.

Abstract: A method for providing proxy event visualization is disclosed. The method includes aggregating, via an application programming interface, event data from various sources, the event data including information that relates to future proxy events; parsing the event data to identify an attribute that corresponds to each of the future proxy events, the attribute including a security identifier; mapping each of the future proxy events to client portfolios based on the attribute; generating a graphical element for each of the client portfolios, the graphical element including the information that relates to the future proxy events; and displaying, via a graphical user interface, the graphical element.

Abstract: A method and a system for facilitating access control with respect to an application in a cloud computing environment are provided. The method includes: intercepting a first request from a user for creating a service instance for a first application; generating an instance space for the service instance in a pool within the cloud computing environment; assigning criteria for determining whether to allow access to the service instance via the instance space; facilitating a creation of the service instance; and connecting the first application to the service instance. When a second request for accessing the service instance via the instance space is received from a subsequent requester, the criteria are applied to the received second request in order to determine whether to allow the requested access.

Abstract: A method and a computing apparatus for managing a portfolio of securities and derivatives are provided. The method includes: identifying a plurality of potential trades based on the portfolio of securities and derivatives; obtaining historical market data that relates to the identified plurality of potential trades; assessing a respective optimal value of each of the at least one security that relates to a corresponding one of the potential trades; and determining trades to be executed from among the identified plurality of potential trades. The assessments of the respective optimal values are based on the obtained historical market data, and also on additional information that relates to each security, using statistical methods. The determination of trades to be executed is based on the corresponding optimal values.

According to one embodiment, in an information processing apparatus comprising at least one computer processor, a method for digital refunds may include: (1) receiving, from an issuing financial institution, electronic transaction data for a transaction involving a product purchased by a customer from a merchant, the product having a purchase price; (2) determining a return period in which the product may be eligible for a return to the merchant; and (3) during the return period: (a) retrieving a current price for the product from the merchant or a third-party merchant; (b) determining that the current price for the product may be less than the purchase price; and (c) initiating a refund to the customer from the merchant for a difference between the current price and the purchase price.

Abstract: A method for facilitating automated predictive analytics of specified pools is disclosed. The method includes receiving, via an application programming interface, a bid list from an exchange platform, the bid list relating to a listing of the specified pools; parsing the bid list to identify pool characteristics for each of the specified pools; retrieving real-time market data that corresponds to each of the specified pools; aggregating historical trade data that relates to each of the specified pools; determining, by using a model, a predicted amount for each of the specified pools based on the identified pool characteristic, the retrieved real-time market data, and the aggregated historical trade data; and outputting, via the application programming interface, the predicted amount to the exchange platform.

Abstract: A method and a system for extracting information from a table in a document is provided. The method includes: receiving a document that includes information that is arranged in a table; determining three sets of coordinates that respectively relate to lines, words, and characters included in the document; extracting a list of lines based on the first set of coordinates; reconstructing the rows of the table based on list of lines and the second set of coordinates; reconstructing the columns of the table based on the reconstructed rows and the third set of coordinates; and outputting a reconstruction of the table. The three sets of coordinates are expressible in an hOCR format that is based on an open standard for representation of scanned information that is obtainable by using an optical character recognition (OCR) technique.
