Abstract: The invention herein provides for an improved fill composition for encapsulation in casing structures adapted for projectile motion and rupture upon contact with a target surface, such as paintballs. The fill composition adapted for use in an impact-rupturable capsule of the invention comprises a water soluble dye and soy oil. The invention further provides for an improved shell composition for an impact-rupturable capsule containing the fill composition.
Abstract: An attachment for securing an air tank or canister to a paintball marker, the attachment comprises a first attachment piece formed on the paintball. The first attachment piece has a body portion by means of which it is secured to the paintball marker and a fastening portion. A second attachment piece is provided and has a body portion by means of which it is secured to the air tank and a fastening portion. The fastening portion of the second attachment piece is configured to releasably engage with the fastening portion of the first attachment piece to secure the air tank to the paintball marker.
Abstract: A sight apparatus for attachment to a paintball marker having two distinct reticles to assist with the placement accuracy of paintballs. The sight apparatus comprises a body, a first reticle and a second reticle. The first reticle is substantially transparent and includes a diameter line, at least two radius lines, and at least three segment lines extending from each of at least two radius lines. The second reticle is substantially transparent and has a rectangular outline.
Abstract: A head shield device having a frame and a replaceable lens. An engagement axle having an large dimension and a small dimension is attached to the frame. The lens defines an aperture with a neck and an enlarged inner body. The small dimension of the axle is adapted to pass through the neck and rotation of the axle to the large dimension locks the lens in place on the frame. The axle rotation is controlled by a control device located on a tab assembly forming the engagement axle.
Abstract: An auto-adapting fitting for releasably connecting in an end-to-end orientation, a first tube end to a second tube end having an outer diameter within a specified range for use between the ammunition feed port of a paintball marker and the outlet port of a paintball magazine. The fitting is formed onto the end portion of the marker inlet tube. The fitting comprises a resilient sleeve-shaped collar having a number of radially, inwardly extending projections that pass through corresponding radially penetrating holes through the side wall of the end portion of the feed port near its upper opening. The projections bear against the outer surface of the magazine outlet tube. Magazine outlet tubes of a larger outer diameter will cause the collar to be resiliently pushed outwardly.
