Abstract: A manipulation determination apparatus, a manipulation determination method, and a program, which are capable of improving manipulability in performing a manipulation by moving a body. A state of the living body of a user is recognized, and a position or area is allocated on a computer space so as to move in conjunction with the recognized state of the living body. A manipulation corresponding to a motion of the living body is determined based on required conditions that a whole or part of the position or area passes through a boundary plane or boundary line on the computer space, and that parts of the living body perform a contact action or a non-contact action.
Abstract: A selectable element or an element image associated with the element is displayed on a screen of a display unit. A representation of a person whose image is captured with a detection unit, or an indicator that moves in conjunction with a motion of the person is displayed on the screen. The element or the element image is moved so as to be driven out of the representation or the indicator thus displayed. The element is judged as selected based on a movement degree or a post-movement position of the element or the element image thus moved.
