    Abstract: A Venetian blind tape that includes face and rear bands, each of a textile material woven from a loom. A plurality of cross-band members are inter-woven between the face and rear bands and are spacedly disposed along the bands to form supports for blind slats. At least the face band has a discernable decorative pattern woven into it by means of a Jacquard weaving mechanism that is characterized by independent single thread control.

    Abstract: A method of manufacturing and coloring a two tone Venetian blind tape is provided. The two tone Venetian blind tape is particularly adapted to be used in a Venetian blind having a succession of colored slats wherein the surfaces of one side of the slats are of a light color or substantially neutral, i.e., white or off-white and the surfaces on the reverse side of the slats are of any decorator color or pattern or contrasting color. In accordance with the present invention, the outer surface of the face fabric of the Venetian blind assembly is colored with a decorative color and/or pattern or in an alternative embodiment a decorative pattern may be applied to the outer surface of a pre-dyed face fabric by means of a thermal transfer printing process. The color or decorative pattern which is desired to be applied to the outer surface of the face fabric is provided on a conventional heat sensitive printing paper.

    Abstract: A lockbar for fastening a bight of fencing about a fence post or the like structure comprising an elongate sleeve having an interior cross-sectional configuration which is complementary to a portion of the fence post such as to enable telescopically sliding the sleeve onto such portion of the fence post over a bight of the fencing, said sleeve containing an opening at one side and being of such interior dimension as to bindingly accommodate the bight of fencing entering the opening at one side and leaving at the other side. An end of the lockbar is tapered to gather the fencing about the post as it is telescopically slid onto the fence post.
