Abstract: This invention discloses a subassembly for geodesically reinforced honeycomb structures, which comprises shear force and bending moment bearing structural members arranged into a hexagonal assembly that is reinforced by axial load bearing members arranged into a triangular assembly. The subassemblies are assembled and joined into a planar structure that results in a geodesically reinforced honeycomb dome or shell or plate.
