Abstract: The present invention makes available a paper product with a silicone oil-repellent, activatable adhesive coating that can be printed with a laser printer, with the adhesive coating serving to seal a single sheet to itself or neighboring sheets of paper products to one another, and with the silicone-oil repellency being obtained by means of a material selected from the group of fluoroalkyl sodium sulfate(s), fluoroalkyl polyoxyethylene polymer(s), polyvinyl alcohol(s) and mixtures thereof.
Abstract: A method of producing a composition which is composed of from 5 to 50 wt. % of caoutchouc, preferably natural caoutchouc; from 4 to 25 wt. % of starch powder; from 10 to 50 wt. % of one of polybetahydroxybutyrate or cellulose; and from 0 to 15 wt. % of auxiliary agent, and which is biodegradable includes providing caoutchouc in one of flaked or granular form; providing initial materials selected from the group consisting of starch, polybetahydroxybutyrate, cellulose, and auxiliary agent, in ground form as one of a powder or granulated; homogeneously mixing the initial materials into the caoutchouc to provide a homogeneous mixture: plasticizing the homogeneous mixture by heating in one of a screw-type extruder or injection molding machine to provide a plasticized mass; and ejecting the plasticized mass from the extruder or injection-molding machine and allowing the mass to cool. Preferably, plasticizing is carried out of a temperature ranging from 170.degree. C. to 180.degree. C.
Abstract: A process is disclosed for producing multiple-layer moulded bodies by injection of a laminate (16) composed of an essentially flexible, foil-like surface material (19) such as leather or textiles, and a foam layer (22) laminated on the back side of the surface material. Before the laminate is introduced in the injection mould, a separating layer (17) is applied on the surface of the foam material. The separating layer is composed of a separating agent that contains a mixture of an aqueous rubber dispersion and a aqueous silicone emulsion.
Abstract: An identity card, on which a printing area is to be electrostatically printed, consists of a two-layer paper laminate in which the adhesive layer joining the two layers is colored. The paper laminate is calendered and has a thickness of approximately 0.3 mm and a weight per unit area of approximately 300 g/m.sup.2. Both surfaces are provided with a pigment layer and a varnish made of a recticulated acrylate varnish, which each leave a printing area open.
Abstract: An apparatus for removing an endless paper web folded in a large stack and for feeding the paper web to the printing unit of a high-speed printer, particularly a laser printer applying a removal force, at least above stack and in the removal direction behind the same and in front of the printing unit of the high-speed printer is positioned at least one guide roller. At least one of the guide rollers also serves as a deflection roller and for reducing the removal force and, consequently, prevent the risk of the paper web tearing. At least one deflection roller is provided with an additional continuous drive.

Abstract: In a microwave apparatus for media which can be circulated and heated by high frequencies, an elongated shaft having a rectangular cross-section transverse to the elongated direction is provided at one end with a microwave transmitter. At the one end the shaft forms a hollow wave guide followed to the opposite end by a resonator chamber. The shaft has the same cross-sectional shape between its ends. A microwave permeable conductor in the form of a hairpin-shaped loop extends through the resonator chamber from the opposite end. The opposite end of the shaft is closed off by a flange plate secured to a flange on the shaft and the inlet and outlet ends of the loop are located in the flange plate.
Abstract: Switch arrangement with switches completely equipped both for normally closed and for normally open operation, in which, by means of an insulating part which can be selectively placed operatively with respect to the contact pieces which cooperate as breaker or the contact pieces which cooperate as maker, one type of operation in each case is blocked. For this the insulating part has abutment stops, which in both inserted positions in each case lie outside the contact places and which assure an air spacing between the contact pieces which thereby are blocked from making contact.
