    Abstract: A child harness and tether is provided having superior comfort and safety features, the tether comprising a detachable strap adjustable in length and connectable to a harness using a tangle resistant rotating clasp where the position of the connection is away from the child's waist area to prevent undo stress or injury. The harness is fully adjustable to accommodate children of various sizes and utilizes Velcro.RTM. type fasteners at the waistband adjustment for a proper, easy fit. A pair of shoulder straps connect in the back of the child at a vertical flap which extends from the waistband, and connect in front of the child to the waistband in a sliding relationship. Both shoulder straps forms loops to capture the waistband while permitting the shoulder straps, which are joined together, to move along the waistband for greater flexibility.

    Abstract: A utility belt attachable to the two sides of a stroller in front of the occupant includes a plurality of tethers adapted to retain various objects relating to entertaining infants and small children. A traverse strap is suspended from two circular stroller frame members using Velcro hook-and-loop attachment to permit adjustment to various sized strollers. A plurality of object-holding tethers are fastened at a first end to the traverse strap. Each tether has a free end which is adapted to secure an item thereto such that toys, pacifiers, bottles, and the like. These items are thus secured to the stroller. A tether permanently attached to the traverse strap is provided with a ring which is sized to fit onto the neck of a feeding bottle and secure to the bottle when the lid is tightened onto the neck.

    Abstract: A retaining mechanism for a baby bottle is provided having a bottle fastening ring at one end and an adjustable, quick release fastening device at the other end of a strap of polypropelene material. The bottle fastening ring is made of an inert strong semi-rigid plastic material and is securely stitched to the strap. The fastening device is a Velcro loop and hook strip. The fastening ring is adapted to slip over the neck of the bottle to rest against the shoulder. The bottle cap with nipple, when fastened to the bottle neck, holds the fastening ring securely in place against the bottle shoulder. The Velcro fastening device is adjustable to fasten around any number of different size structural components on a baby bed, stroller, high chair, or the like.
