Abstract: There is provided a transmission cable that enables an increase in the number of wires or a further reduction in the diameter while having the electrical characteristics equivalent to those of the conventional coaxial cable. The transmission cable includes four first coated conductor units, each of which is formed by a first conductor and a dielectric formed on the outer periphery of the first conductor, and three second conductor units, each of which has approximately the same diameter as the first coated conductor unit and is disposed adjacent to the dielectric. One of the first coated conductor units is disposed at the center, and the remaining six units of the first coated conductor units and the second conductor units are disposed around the one first coated conductor unit disposed at the center so as to be adjacent to each other.

  • Patent number: 8367932
Abstract: A flat cable including thin coaxial cables each having a center conductor and a jacket, parallel arranged two-dimensionally in a flat shape, and joined by tangling them with a weft yarn in units of predetermined number of very thin coaxial cables. The flat cable further includes tangling yarns that are arranged parallel along the edges in the width direction of the thin coaxial cables, and the elongation of the weft yarn is greater than that of the tangling yarn. When the very thin flat cable is bent, the bent portion of the weft yarn is elongated, and thereby the bent portion of the very thin coaxial cables can deviate from the mesh formed by the very thin coaxial cables and the weft yarn.

  • Publication number: 20100000771
Abstract: The present invention is to significantly improve copper-foil adhesion strength (copper-foil peel strength) without roughening or blackening a copper-foil surface, and thereby to provide a copper-clad laminate used favorably in a high frequency range. The copper-clad laminate (101) for a single-sided printed-wiring board is formed by bonding a copper foil (4) onto a surface of an insulating substrate (2) with an LCP/PFA composite film (3) disposed in between. The insulating substrate (2) is made of a fluororesin prepreg 2A. The copper foil (4) is a rolled copper foil, the both surfaces of which are smooth and not roughened or blackened. The insulating substrate (2) and the copper foil (4) are bonded to each other with the composite film (3) disposed in between by firing and pressing them under temperature conditions which are 5° C. to 40° C. higher than the melting point of PFA and lower than the melting point of LCP.

  • Publication number: 20090283296
Abstract: As a coaxial cable includes a dielectric layer around a center conductor, an outer conductor layer around the dielectric layer, and a sheath around the outer conductor layer, wherein the dielectric layer is made of unsintered polytetrafluoroethylene, and a metal foil imparting an increased shielding effectiveness and shape maintainability is provided between the dielectric layer made of the unsintered polytetrafluoroethylene and the outer conductor layer, it is possible to make it a high frequency coaxial cable which, having a very excellent low insertion loss, and also having a high shielding effectiveness against a signal leakage increasing an attenuation, can be bent easily and freely by hand without using a tool or the like while effectively maintaining an electrical characteristic for a high frequency signal and, after being bent, has an excellent shape maintainability in that bent condition, enabling an easy wiring work or connecting work by virtue of the excellent shape maintainability.

  • Patent number: 7538276
Abstract: In a flat-shaped cable in which many conductors or transmission lines arranged side by side are covered with and held between insulators or sheaths, the insulators or the sheaths are made of non-sintered or semi-sintered polytetrafluoroethylene, and are sintered and joined at web portions where the insulators or the sheaths are connected through the conductors or the transmission lines, and therefore, even if it is formed by using a PTFE sheet or an EPTFE sheet as an insulator or a sheath of the flat-shaped cable such as a flat cable, the flat-shaped cable can be made to have excellent bendability, flexibility or pliability, as well as excellent slidability.

  • Publication number: 20090114415
Abstract: A flat cable of the invention in which at least end portions of a plurality of coaxial cables are securely arranged in parallel on a sheet is characterized in that the sheet is made to remain in a band shape across an entire width of the flat cable, at a middle portion of a flat cable edge-machined portion for electric connection of the coaxial cables. Accordingly, a plurality of coaxial cables exposed at an end portion of the flat cable by the cable end process have their middle portions, fixed to the sheet, made to remain in a band shape. This makes it difficult for the coaxial cables to be separated part at the end portion of the flat cable, and making it possible to well keep the pitch accuracy among the coaxial cables and easily and surely achieve complex and troublesome electric connection.

  • Publication number: 20090117303
Abstract: A roll cover of the invention is a tubular roll cover made of a thermoplastic fluoropolymer for covering a round rod-like or cylindrical roll body, wherein the thermoplastic fluoropolymer contains from 0.5 to 5% by weight of a carbon nanotube. Since the thermoplastic fluoropolymer thus contains from 0.5 to 5% by weight of the carbon nanotube, the roll cover of the invention can secure necessary conductivity, in other words, have low chargeability of static electrification, secure good antistatic property and prevent an offset phenomenon by static electrification. Further, flexibility, mold releasability, surface cleanability and the like inherent in an ordinary fluoropolymer can be maintained well.
