Patents Assigned to Jura-Elektroapparate-Fabriken L. Henzirohs A.G.
  • Patent number: 4197664
Abstract: A steam iron having an arrangement for producing a puff of steam, in which a duct between the water reservoir and the steam chamber, through which duct the water serving to produce the puff of steam passes into the steam chamber, can be opened and closed by a valve stem operatable from outside the steam iron.

  • Patent number: 4149327
Abstract: A steam iron having a forward-pointing spray nozzle for dampening laundry being ironed provides for a substantially greater spray area to be covered by including a water-supply channel passing from a pump through the pump piston-rod to the spray nozzle which is secured to the piston rod. Manipulation of an operating button causes the spray nozzle to move up and down with the piston rod while spraying is taking place, as well as causing a valve port to be opened, closed, and scraped out simultaneously.

  • Patent number: 4149328
Abstract: A steam iron having a spout in the form of a spray nozzle projecting into a steam chamber for causing uniform puffs of steam to be ejected from a number of outlets in the sole plate of the iron whenever desired during ironing. The spout is fed by a pump disposed in a water reservoir. The spray-nozzle design of the spout also prevents excessive localized cooling in the steam chamber.

  • Patent number: 4104815
Abstract: A steam iron comprising a one-piece component accommodating two bores usable as pump cylinders and a cover making it possible either to seal off one or both cylinder bores or to leave both open at the top. The cylinders may then be used selectively in conjunction with associated pistons and ducts to supply water to either a spray nozzle, a delivery spout for introducing additional water into a vaporization chamber, or both. The one-piece component may also provide the possibility of selectively sealing or leaving open certain valve bores associated with the pump cylinders.

  • Patent number: 3990164
Abstract: A household flatplate ironer comprising two cooperating pressing plates, the upper one of which is lowerable onto the lower one by means of a supporting arm and a counterpoise, is provided with means for re-opening the ironer automatically after it has remained closed for a predetermined period of time, thus affording an article of laundry being ironed to cool off without suffering damage from overheating.
