Abstract: An apparatus (10) for the installation/removal of a vehicular component (100), such as a wheel adaptor/spacer. The apparatus (10) includes a support structure (20) and a mounting head (40). The support structure (20) is height adjustable. The mounting head (40) includes an arm assembly (41) which is longitudinally extendable, and, which is rotatably connected to the support structure (20). Mounting brackets (48, 49) are attached to each end of the arm assembly (41) which are adapted to releasably engage the vehicular component (100).

Abstract: An apparatus (10, 60) for storage of elongate elements, such as pipes, tubes and conduits. The apparatus (10, 60) includes a frame (12) that supports a plurality of trays (15, 63). The trays (15, 63) are arranged in two vertical columns of storage positions, except for the trays located at the top or bottom of the apparatus as they are moved about sprockets (71, 72) by a drive motor (73). Each tray (15, 63) is configured to support a plurality of elongate items. The trays (15, 63, which may embodied as cradles or racks, may be moved between a storage position and an access position, wherein in the access position, the elongate items can be accessed from substantially vertically above the tray (15, 63).

Abstract: A retractable access device (1) adapted to be moved between a first contracted configuration and a second expanded configuration. The access device (1) includes a landing (2), at least one tread step (3), and a pair of linkage assemblies (4). Each linkage assembly (4) is pivotally attached to a respective side edge of each step (3), and includes a plurality of pivotally connected links to support and effect upward and downward movement of each tread step (3) relative to said landing (2).

Abstract: A post mount (1), adapted to be installed in a substrate and releasably receive a post therein, including: a body (2); and an insert (3), adapted to cooperate with the body; wherein, in use, the body is adapted to be driven into the substrate, and, thereafter, the insert is adapted to be at least partially deformed, to thereby anchor the post mount to the substrate.

Abstract: An article handling apparatus including a frame adapted to receive the article on a support structure, a number of wheels attached to the frame for movement of the frame over a substrate surface, and retaining arms operatively coupled to the frame and adapted to releasably secure the article to the frame. The secured article is movable in a controlled manner with respect to the frame by movement of the support structure and the retaining arms.

Abstract: A fence post which is adapted to release from a substrate surface in the event of rising water or flood. A plurality of fence post(s) may be used to form a fence (FIG. 8). Each fence post includes an engaging mechanism at a first end thereof, which is adapted to release from a substrate surface in the event of rising water or flood, and, a retaining mechanism at a second end thereof to retain the post near its pre-released position, such that the fence posts may be easily re-installed after the flood has passed.

Abstract: An engagement assembly, adapted to securely engage an orifice of an article. The engagement assembly includes a plurality of elongate fingers which are transversely movable relative to each other, each finger having an end flange thereon. The engagement assembly has an insertion position, wherein said fingers are contracted together, such that said flanges are adapted to be inserted through said orifice of said article; and, an engaged position, wherein said fingers are flared outwards relative to said insertion position, such that said flanges are adapted to thereby prevent withdrawal of said assembly from said orifice.
