The removable trailer tow hitch includes a tongue having a first clamping portion located at one end and is configured to receive a towing connection at the other end. The first clamping portion is configured to engage a vehicle bumper. A lever arm having a second clamping portion is pivotally attached to the tongue. The second clamping portion is configured to removably secure the trailer tow hitch to a vehicle when the lever arm is moved from an open position to a closed position. The second clamping portion is configured to engage a vehicle frame.
