Abstract: A support construction for a transportable attraction for amusement rides is provided with a base, at least two masts that are moveable between a folded and stretched position, and a main shaft that is intended to be supported by the masts in the stretched position of the masts. Each mast comprises a base mast segment, which is hingedly attached to the base, and a top mast segment, which is hingedly connected with the base mast segment and is attachable to the main shaft. The base comprises at least two trailers and trailer coupling means for coupling the trailers. On each of the trailers a base mast segment of one of the masts is mounted. The support construction further comprises first mast coupling means for the coupling of a first pair of masts in folded position. A method for raising the support construction is set forth.

Abstract: The invention relates to an attraction (1) for amusement rides, such as a fairground attraction or an amusement park attraction, comprising a mast (10), a base frame (13), which is rotatably attached to the mast and which extends radially from the mast, means for rotating the base frame, a plurality of subframes (20), each comprising a stiff connecting arm to which a gondola with one or more passenger seats is attached. The subframes (20) are circumferentially distributed, each pivotably suspended by means of the connecting arm on the base frame (13), such that the subframes with gondolas swing upon rotation of the base frame under the influence of the centrifugal force. The attraction is further provided with control means for controlling the swing of the subframes with gondolas relative to the base frame, which control means are arranged to move the center of gravity of the subframe (20) relative to the base frame (13).

Abstract: The present invention relates to an amusement ride (1), such as a fairground attraction or an amusement park attraction. The attraction comprises a main carrier (10) rotatable about a first, substantially vertical axis of rotation (R1), a first drive for rotation of the main carrier about the first axis of rotation, at least one passenger carrier (20) which is rotatable about a second, substantially vertical, rotation axis (R2). The passenger carrier is attached to the main carrier at a distance from the first axis of rotation and has a second drive for rotation of the passenger carrier about the second axis of rotation. The passenger carrier is provided with one or more passenger carrier arms with a seat carrier (30) with one or more seats. Each seat carrier is rotatable about a third axis of rotation (R3), which is at an angle of substantially 30 to 70 degrees with respect to the second axis of rotation.

Abstract: A fairground attraction is disclosed, including a track, a number of people carriers and device connected to the people carriers for advancing thereof along the track. Each people carrier is connected to the advancing device for pivoting about its top axis and is suspended in cantilevered manner above the track or rests thereon via support devices displaceable at an angle to the direction of forward movement. The people carriers can thus be moved as it were in “drifting” manner over the track. The advancing device can be arranged between the track and the people carriers, and can include for each people carrier a connecting member which protrudes from the track and on which the people carrier is mounted on its centre line and around which the people carrier can swivel.
