Abstract: Closing device for a gas-conducting line, the closing device having a first connection side with a first opening and a second connection side with a second opening, the closing device further having a plurality of closing elements with a substantially flat extension, which are arranged in and can be pivoted in a working plane, so that the closing elements block a flow of gas in a closed position and allow a free flow of gas in a flow position, wherein each closing member has a first bounding side of its substantially flat extent and a second bounding side of its substantially flat extent, which are formed complementary to each other, so that each closing element bears positively against the adjacent closing elements in the closed position, so that the substantially flat extensions block the flow, and wherein the adjusting element can be actuated from outside the base body.

Abstract: An apparatus for conveying a substrate, wherein the apparatus comprises a rail-like track section having a longitudinal extension and a moving unit, which is configured to perform a movement relative to the track section along the longitudinal extension of the track section, wherein the track section and the moving unit are configured to interact such that the movement of the moving unit is effected by magnetic interaction between the track section and the moving unit, and wherein the moving unit comprises a holding unit which is configured to assume an opened and a closed state, wherein, in the opened state, a section of the substrate can be inserted into the holding unit and, in the closed state, the section is held by the holding unit. Further, a system for printing on a substrate with a previously described apparatus is disclosed.

Abstract: An information support (12) has at least one piece of information which is provided on the information support (12). The information is covered by material layer which is released by means of ultrasonic sonotrode (18) from a hot-stamping strip (24) wherein the material layer is transferred to the information support (12) at the position at which the information on the information support (12) is to be covered. The transfer of material layers onto an information support can be effected rapidly and in an economical fashion at low temperatures using the ultrasonic sonotrode. The ultrasonic sonotrode preferably operates in an oscillatory region between 15,000 and 35,000 Hz. The information support (12) can be configured as a support which accepts a material layer without covering information on the support.
