Abstract: A blender appliance for blending food includes a base with a motor therein. A blender receptacle is removably mounted on the base so that the motor will rotate a blade mounted in the receptacle. The blade is mounted midway along its length for rotation about on axis of rotation. The blade includes blade end tips extending upwardly parallel with the axis of rotation or alternative substantially perpendicularly to the blade adjacent its ends. The blade tips are beveled outwardly and rearwardly from their leading edges and the blade is also beveled downwardly and rearwardly from its leading edges.
Abstract: A multipurpose electric food mixing appliance specially adapted to mix and knead bread dough in combination with a blender device utilizes one power source to drive both the blender and the mixer. The appliance can sense when dough is properly kneaded and automatically shut itself off. A special dough hook/stator arrangement reduces drag on the motor and an upwardly extending cover maximizes the effective volume of the mixing receptacle. A special blender blade configuration increases the effectiveness of the blender.
