Patents Assigned to Kabelschlepp GmbH
  • Patent number: 5768882
Abstract: A tie bar to be connected at the ends to the side parts of a chain link is described. The tie bar is provided with a fastening groove which is open toward the center of the chain link, which groove is delimited by two parallel beads which are connected to one another via a base plate. Strain relief elements for power lines can be fastened in the fastening groove. At least one connecting bore can be formed in the base plate, and the tie bar with the chain link forms a means of connecting a power conducting chain at a fixed point or a movable point.

  • Patent number: 5201885
Abstract: A guide chain for guiding energy lines form a stationary connection to a movable consuming device is comprised of a plurality of chain members being pivotably connected with one another. Each one of the chain members is comprised of two side portions arranged at a distance parallel to one another and two transverse elements that are connecting the two side portions. Separating cross-pieces which divide the energy line channel may be arranged within the energy line channel in a slidable or fixedly connected manner because the transverse elements are provided with a respective longitudinal groove. A plurality of bores extends from the bottom of the groove through the transverse elements and each separating cross-piece is provided at its upper and lower end with a holder comprising at least one pin, the length of which corresponds to the depth of the groove.

  • Patent number: 5174104
Abstract: A guide chain for guiding energy lines from a stationary connection to a movable consuming device consists of a plurality of chain members that are connected with one another as to be pivotable about a pivot angle. Each chain member is comprised of two side portions arranged at a distance parallel to one another and connected by two transverse elements. The pivot angle between two neighboring chain members is limited by stop inserts which are inserted into corresponding recessed portions of the side portions. In order to adapt the pivot angle of two neighboring chain members to different applications, it is suggested that the stop insert is provided as a disk with at least two cutouts whereby at least one cutout is in the form of a radial slot and the outer cutout is arc-shaped. The slot and the arc-shaped cutout are arranged at an angle .alpha. relative to one another. Within the recessed portions of the side portions, stops are provided which engage the slot, respectively, the arc-shaped cutout.

Each of the chain members is comprised of two side portions arranged at a distance parallel to one another. Two transverse elements connect the two side portions with one another. In order to open the guide chain at its upper side on either side of the side portions for providing access to the energy line channel, the two side portions are provided with a pivot joint which is comprised of a lug element extending in the longitudinal direction of the side portion and a holding member which is detachably connected to the lug element, the transverse element being connected to the two holding members.

  • Patent number: 4800714
Abstract: A guide chain for carrying lines that supply all types of expendable material from a fixed connection to a movable consuming device. In order to provide the guide chain with a periphery that is as completely closed as possible and has as smooth a surface as possible, and in order to be able to assemble the individual parts in a straightforward manner, two basic variants are proposed. In one variant, recesses are provided in the side pieces and are respectively concentric to a pivot axis between that side piece and an adjacent side piece, with externally circular cylindrical cover elements being inserted in the recesses to cover horizontal gaps between adjacent chain links. Caps are provided to connect adjacent side pieces, with each cap having a concentric rim that extends into the recesses and grooves that interconnect the latter. Each cap also has projecting members that are disposed between stops of adjacent chain links. These projecting members limit the maximum pivot angle of adjacent chain links.

  • Patent number: 4784544
Abstract: A link-band cover for guideways and moving parts of machine tools, as well as for other structural elements of machine tools that could lead to accidents. The cover includes individual rigid strips that can be sequentially arranged in a plane. Each strip has long sides, with adjacent long sides of adjacent ones of the strips each being provided with a respective slot that is open toward the adjacent strip and has an undercut base. Hinge members in the form of hinge eyes are disposed between each two adjacent strips to pivotably interconnect the same, with each hinge eye being anchored in one of the slots of the strips. Hinge eyes between two adjacent strips are aligned on a pivot shaft, with adjacent hinge eyes being anchored in the slots of different strips.

  • Patent number: 4702281
Abstract: A tube-like carrier, for energy and supply lines, comprising a plurality of interlocking link and bracket members that can be angled relative to one another. Inwardly disposed link members are provided with outwardly directed stops, and outwardly disposed bracket members, which interconnect adjacent link members, are provided with inwardly directed stops, with the stops of the link and bracket members interlocking with one another. On the upper and lower sides of the carrier, the link and bracket members leave respective openings that extend in the longitudinal direction of the carrier. Each opening is spanned by a flexible cover strip. To be able to provide a plurality of tube cross-sections, the link members are in the form of pairs of link members, with the link members of a given pair being disposed on opposite sides of the openings. A respective crosspiece is secured to, and disposed between, the two link members of each pair of link members.
