Abstract: A signal processing apparatus is configured to change volume level or frequency characteristics of an input signal with a limited bandwidth in a first frequency range. The apparatus includes: an information extracting unit configured to extract second frequency characteristic information from a collection signal with a limited bandwidth in a second frequency range different from the first frequency range; a frequency characteristic information extending unit configured to estimate first frequency characteristic information from the second frequency characteristic information extracted by the information extracting unit, the first frequency characteristic information including the first frequency range; and a signal correcting unit configured to change volume level or frequency characteristics of the input signal according to the first frequency characteristic information obtained by the frequency characteristic information extending unit.

Abstract: According to the embodiments, a first storing unit as a cache, second and third storing units included in a nonvolatile semiconductor memories, and a controller are included, in which the controller includes an organizing unit that increases a resource by organizing data in the nonvolatile semiconductor memories, and an organizing-state notifying unit that, when an organizing-state notification request is input from a host, outputs an organizing state by the organizing unit to the host as an organizing-state notification, thereby improving a command response speed and the writing efficiency.

Abstract: A card-shaped electronic device is used with an electronic apparatus. A rectangular flat box-like main-body of the card-shaped electronic device can be inserted into and taken out of the electronic apparatus in a given insertion direction. The main-body has a pair of lateral sides extending in the insertion direction. A pair of shield plates fixed to the main-body cover the upper and lower surfaces of the main-body. A conductive portion is arranged on the lateral side of the main-body and is electrically connected to the shield plates, for conducting the shield plates with the electronic apparatus when the main-body is loaded in the electronic apparatus.
