Abstract: A vehicle alarm system for use with a lock (1) that is attachable to a vehicle wheel (2). The alarm system includes a lock motion detection sensor (20) and a transmitter (15) to transmit signals from the detection sensor. The motion detection sensor and the transmitter are located inside the lock. The vehicle includes a receiver (24) that receives the detection signals sent by the transmitter (15), an alarm (4) that emits a warning sound, and an operations control unit (25) that sounds the alarm in response to the signal from the receiver. The control unit and alarm are powered by the vehicle's battery (7).

Abstract: A filter device for cleaning water and having a reinforcing member for preventing reduction of filtering area due to deformation of filter membrane. The filter device comprises a generally cylindrical casing and a filter element contained in said casing for passing water from the primary side thereof to the secondary side thereof, the filter element including a corrugated filter membrane and a reinforcing member for supporting the corrugated filter membrane. The filter device is particularly suited for use together with a powdered absorbent such as activated carbon.

Abstract: A water purifier comprising a primary filter for removing residual chlorine and other impurities, a secondary filter disposed downstream of the primary filter for removing microorganisms and antimicrobial means disposed between the primary filter and the secondary filter. The water purifier of the invention can be used for long time since the proliferation of microorganism, which causes clogging of the secondary filter, is effectively prevented.
