Abstract: A water dispenser includes a raw water container having an inner tube a water outlet port of the raw water container. The inner tube is provided with a stepped portion having a smaller diameter at its portion closer to the interior of the raw water container, and a fastening belt portion formed contiguous to the stepped portion on the smaller diameter side thereof. The water server also includes a joint portion in the form of a cylindrical member including a straight portion (73) configured to be fitted tightly to the fastening belt portion, and provided with a water flow hole formed in a size so as not to cover the entire axial width of the fastening belt portion while the straight portion is being inserted into the fastening belt portion.

Abstract: A water dispenser is provided which is capable of smoothly drawing up drinking water in a raw water container with a pump until drinking water in the raw water container is used up. The water dispenser includes a cold water tank (2) and a hot water tank (3), a container holder (5) in which a replaceable raw water container (4) can be placed, and an insertion pipe (6) adapted to be inserted through a water outlet (10) of the raw water container (4). A water receiving container (7) is mounted to a lower portion (13) of the container holder (5) and is adapted to receive drinking water. The water receiving container (7) is in communication with the cold water tank (2) through a raw water supply line (8) to which a pump (9) is mounted. The insertion pipe (6) has its bottom end disposed in the water receiving container (7).

Abstract: A water dispenser includes a slide table arranged in a lower portion thereof. The slide table includes a cup portion in which a piercing rod of a water supply line is provided, a container supporting portion configured to support from below a shoulder portion of a raw water container which is a transparent and deformable container, and a holder portion configured to guide downwardly s side peripheral portion of the raw water container. Since the surface color of the piercing rod is different from the surface color of the cup portion and the container supporting portion, it is possible to visually confirm how much the raw water container is pierced by the piercing rod.

Abstract: A water dispenser includes a pump which can lift water in an exchangeable raw water container into a water storage tank in a casing. The water dispenser further includes a water level sensor in the form of a float sensor for detecting the upper limit and the lower limit of the water level in the water storage tank. The water dispenser further includes a controller adapted to activate the pump upon receiving a sensor input indicative of detection of the lower limit, and deactivate the pump upon receiving sensor input indicative of detection of the upper limit. The controller is further adapted to measure the time elapsed since the pump was activated, and deactivate the pump when the time elapsed reaches a predetermined time at which the water level exceeds the upper limit and at which water in the water storage tank has not yet overflown the water storage tank.

Abstract: A water dispenser includes a raw water container which can be slid into and out of a loading space, while being placed on a slide table. The slide table has a container holder adapted to restrain the peripheral side wall of the raw water container. The minimum height and the shape of the container holder are determined such that when the peripheral side wall of the raw water container is collapsed, the raw water container is never pulled up by the container holder as a result of the peripheral side wall getting caught on the container holder, and such that when the raw water container becomes empty, the raw water container is received within the container holder. This prevents portions of the peripheral side wall from protruding into spaces behind front distal ends of side plates defining the loading space.

Abstract: A water dispenser is proposed of which a raw water container is mounted upside down at the lower portion of a housing. The water dispenser has a piercing member which serves both as one end of a water supply line and one end of an air intake line. With this arrangement, when the raw water container is opened, the interior of the raw water container is simultaneously connected to the water supply line and the air intake line. Raw water containers can be easily exchanged. The raw water container is made of a soft material, so that air can be freely sucked into the raw water container through the air intake line while a pump is activated. This allows the pump to lift water with a minimum force.

Abstract: A water dispenser includes a baffle which interferes with the downward flow of water introduced into a cold water tank through a water supply line. The baffle has a water transfer passage formed by a downwardly recessed surface portion formed on the top surface of the baffle and having a distal edge, and an edge portion having a predetermined thickness and located over the distal edge so as to overlap the distal edge. The water transfer passage is configured such that the recessed surface portion deflects the flow of water flowing down through the water transfer passage in a horizontal direction or a direction close to a horizontal direction. Water is thus discharged from the terminal end opening defined by the distal edge and the edge portion into the lower portion of the cold water tank in a direction close to a horizontal direction.

Abstract: A water dispenser includes a drawer having a rear side provided in the lower portion of a casing and is guided by guiding portions fixed to the casing. Before the casing which stands on a floor surface topples down and before the drawer comes into contact with a floor surface, casters support the front side of the drawer. Normally, axles of the casters are supported on respective front side support portions such that the casters roll on a floor surface. The casters collide against a step, so that the axles are moved to rear side support portions which are located higher than the front side support portions.

An air passage pipe (17) is connected to the opening (15b) and hangs vertically downwardly into a low-temperature tank (2). An on-off valve (19b) is provided at the free end of the air passage pipe (17) which is adapted to open when the water level in the low-temperature tank (2) lowers.

Abstract: A beverage dispenser has a simple configuration that prevents invasion of bacteria into a tank or a raw water container. An air intake 13 is provided on the top of a cold tank 4 so that air is taken in as the water level in the tank is lowered, and an air chamber 14 having an air inlet 16 for the outside air is connected to the air intake 13. In the air chamber 14, an ozone generator 15 generating ozone from oxygen in the air from the air inlet 16 is provided so that bacteria included in the air from outside is killed in the air chamber 14 connected to the air intake 13 by the excellent bactericidal effect of ozone. Invasion of bacteria into the tank or the raw water container is thus prevented with this simple configuration.

Abstract: A container cartridge for a beverage dispenser includes a bottom wall, a side wall and a top wall having a spout. The bottom wall, the side wall and the top wall, including the spout, are integrally formed of a polyethylene. The side wall is sufficiently thin so as to be foldable. Thus, after use, i.e. when the container cartridge has become empty, the container cartridge can be collapsed by folding the side wall. The thus collapsed container cartridge can be efficiently transported.
