  • Patent number: 8057626
Abstract: A process for making a noise absorber carpet including a fabric layer portion and a resinous backing layer portion including the substantially concurrent steps of continuously feeding a softened resinous backing material from a backing resin feeder onto a backing roll to form a continuous resinous backing sheet thereon, and continuously feeding a heated continuous fabric sheet via a fabric roll onto the backing sheet continuously formed on the backing roll, wherein the backing roll includes spike depressions and perforation pins on its surface, and wherein the fabric roll is located close to the backing roll to press the fabric sheet against the backing sheet as the sheets proceed between the rolls and mold spikes and perforations on the backing sheet, the backing roll being cooled to a temperature range between 10 degrees Celsius and 50 degrees Celsius with a cooling medium to harden said spikes and perforations and provide bonding between the fabric sheet and the backing sheet.

  • Patent number: 7883596
Abstract: A noise absorber carpet comprised of a fabric layer portion and a resinous backing layer portion is provided. The fabric layer portion and the resinous backing layer portion are heat bonded with a press into the noise absorber carpet, and the press includes perforation pins and a cooling medium. The resinous backing layer portion is provided with noise absorbing perforations formed by contact with the perforation pins of the press and cooled by the cooling medium. The perforations having been cooled by the cooling medium with the press simultaneously with the bonding of the resinous backing layer portion with the fabric layer portion and the cooling of the press by the cooling medium, thereby providing for instant curing and fixation of the shape of the perforations.

  • Publication number: 20030170422
Abstract: Combined boards are taught that comprise a second board substrate (12) having a through bore (14) formed therein, a first board substrate (10), and a connector pin (40, 50) received in the through bore (14) of the second board substrate (12). The first and second board substrates overlap such that the through bore (14) of the second board substrate (12) is covered by a first surface (10b) of the first board substrate (10). The connector pin is fusion bonded to a circumferential surface of the through bore (14) and the first surface (10b) of the first board substrate (10).

  • Patent number: 6374841
Abstract: An object of the invention is to provide a tip for stick use without any movable portion and any sliding portion, which is monolithically formed to be flexibly deformable having a restoring function as well as a simple constitution, and a stick shod with the same. The tip is mainly constituted of a lower portion 1 for contacting the ground, an upper portion 2 whereon a hole 6 to be inserted with the stick 3 is opened and a flexibly deformable portion 4 for connecting aforesaid lower portion 1 and upper portion 2 which is equipped with an annular concavity 5 on a peripheral surface. The above-mentioned three portions 1, 2 and 4 constituting the tip are fabricated monolithically from an elastic material.

  • Patent number: 4636800
Abstract: An apparatus for rotating and driving an antenna device in a radio transmitter and receiver which can simply increase and decrease the driving torque by variation in weight thereof. This apparatus comprises a rotary body rotatably mounted on a main housing and supporting the antenna device thereabove, and one or more driving units detachably mounted on the main housing. The rotary body is connected to an input gear rotatably provided on the main housing through a gear mechanism. Each of driving units has a driving source and a keyway gear connected through the gear mechanism, the keyway gear being meshed with the input gear when the driving unit is mounted on the main housing. Thereby, the driving torque required for rotation of the antenna device is adjusted by increase or decrease in number of the driving units.
