  • Patent number: 8191260
Abstract: A manufacturing method of a liquid ejection head includes forming on a substrate a first flow passage wall forming member contacting a solid layer of equal height, exposing a first layer of a negative photosensitive resin material to form an ejection outlet forming member; exposing a second layer, on the first layer, of a negative photosensitive resin material to form a second flow passage wall forming member for forming another part of the wall of the flow passage; placing the exposed first and second layers on the solid layer and the first flow passage wall forming member so that a non-exposed portion of the second layer contacts the solid layer; forming parts of the flow passage and the ejection outlet by removing non-exposed portions of the first and second layers above the substrate; and forming the flow passage by removing the solid layer.

  • Patent number: 6898041
Abstract: A disk drive which can be used in particular under a low temperature environment is disclosed. The drive comprises a spindle motor (SPM) being a fluid dynamics bearing motor, and rotates a disk medium by the SPM. When an ambient temperature of the drive has changed to a low temperature, current consumption by the SPM increases to maintain steady rotation of the drive. When a CPU detects that current consumption by the SPM exceeds a specified value, the CPU restricts a current supplied to a voice coil motor (VCM) such that the total current amount does not exceed a specified maximum current capacity of the drive.

  • Patent number: 6762991
Abstract: An OFDM modulator includes an OFDM modulator section for conducting OFDM modulation on a signal, based upon an OFDM clock FCLK, and outputting an OFDM signal, an adder for adding the OFDM clock FCLK to a local signal FPLO for frequency conversion, and a frequency converter for conducting frequency conversion on the OFDM signal supplied from the OFDM modulator section, based upon an output signal of the adder. The OFDM modulator thus outputs an IF signal having a frequency equivalent to that of the local signal. As a result, the floating frequency component of the OFDM clock on the OFDM modulator section side is canceled by the floating frequency component of the OFDM clock on the frequency adder side. There is thus obtained an IF signal which can be synchronized to a frequency (for example, 10 MHz) of an external device and which has the same frequency as that of the local signal FPLO.

  • Patent number: 5967127
Abstract: To improve the low-temperature resistance of a blow-by gas treatment device. An air cleaner is connected through a carburetor to the intake side of a cylinder portion constituting an engine in a four-wheel buggy. A blow-by gas induction pipe is provided to connect a crankcase and one side surface of the air cleaner, so as to induce a blow-by gas from the crankcase to a return chamber defined in the air cleaner at one side portion thereof. An exhaust pipe extends rearwardly from the exhaust side of the cylinder portion along a part of the induction pipe, and is connected to a muffler. The muffler is located in the vicinity of the return chamber in the air cleaner, so as to warm the return chamber by the heat radiated from the muffler, thereby ensuring good returnability of the blow-by gas even at low temperatures. The exhaust pipe similarly warms the induction pipe.

  • Patent number: 4930899
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a dough stuff kneader for kneading dough stuffs contained in a container by driving an electric motor. The dough stuff kneader includes an electrical fan for inducing an air flow which is introduced into the container, thereby cooling the dough stuffs. The kneading motor is driven in accordance with a kneading command signal delivered from a microcomputer as a signal generating circuit. The electrical fan is driven in accordance with a blowing command signal delivered from a timer circuit. The timer circuit is designed so as to deliver a blowing command signal after elapse of a predetermined period of time from the time when the kneading command signal is delivered from the microcomputer.
