Abstract: A high-strength steel sheet satisfies a predetermined chemical composition in which a content of martensite is 93% by volume or more, contents of ferrite, pearlite, and bainite are 2% by volume or less in total, and a content of retained austenite is 7% by volume or less, based on an entire metal structure, a number of laths in martensite measured by a cutting method in a total length of 300 ?m in an image of the metal structure observed under a scanning electron microscope is 240 or more, and a tensile strength of the high-strength steel sheet is 1470 MPa or more.
Abstract: A flux for submerged arc welding is a sintered flux and is for use in high speed welding. In the flux, the following relationships of contents in mass percent are satisfied: CaF2: 10.0% to 20.0%, MgO: 8.0% to 15.0%, a sum of Na2O and K2O: 2.1% to 3.5%, MnO: 1.5% to 5.0%, FeO: 0.5% to 5.0%, SiO2: 10.0% to 20.0%, Al2O3: 13.0% to 28.0%, and TiO2: 13.0% to 28.0%. In addition, the following relationships are further satisfied: 65?(MgO+SiO2+Al2O3+TiO2)?75, and 0.5?(Al2O3/TiO2)?2.0.
Abstract: A control method for gas-shielded arc welding includes providing a normal arc period in which the welding current is maintained at a setting current Icc set in advance, and providing a separation control period after the separation timing of the molten droplet is detected in the normal arc period, the separation control period including a current decreasing section, a current maintaining section, and a current increasing section. In the separation control period, at least one of the following controls for preventing a short circuit is performed: control of an output voltage, control of a feeding speed, and control of a gas ratio.
Abstract: A CAES power generation device includes a compression/expansion/combined machine, a pressure accumulation unit for storing compressed air, a low temperature water storage tank and a high temperature water storage tank, heat exchangers, and liquid maintaining units. The compression/expansion/combined machine has a function of compressing air using the electric power and a function of expanding the compressed air to generate electric power. The low temperature water storage tank and the high temperature water storage tank store liquid water and are fluidly connected to each other. The heat exchangers exchange heat between the compressed air and the water. The liquid maintaining units pressurize the water flowing through the heat exchangers and maintain the water in a liquid form.
Abstract: Provided are a coil unit for electromagnetic forming capable of stably processing a plurality of portions in the longitudinal direction of a tubular member while preventing the contact between the tubular member and a conductor or the contact between the conductors even when the tubular member is long, and a method for producing a formed article using the coil unit. The coil unit for electromagnetic forming includes: a shaft core member made of a resin; a conductor having a wound portion, which is wound around the shaft core member, and a pair of conductor extension portions; an insulating support; and a resin coating layer formed on the outer peripheral surface of the wound portion. In the insulating support, a conductor holding portion for holding the conductor extension portions apart from each other is formed along the longitudinal direction.
Abstract: Using three-dimensional shape data, the shape of a blade, which is an additive manufacturing product, is divided into multiple layers according to the height of a bead. Each layer of the additive manufacturing product that has been divided into multiple layers is divided by fitting regions of a set shape. By determining connecting lines for connecting the divided regions to each other and computing the extension directions of protrusions, planned lines for bead formation along said extension directions are determined. The additive manufacturing product is shaped by forming beads along planned bead formation lines.
Abstract: When a T1-tempered aluminum alloy extrusion is subjected to plastic working and thus formed into a product, crack occurrence is prevented during plastic working, and tensile residual stress of the product is reduced to improve stress corrosion cracking resistance. A T1-tempered 7000-series aluminum alloy extrusion is heated to a temperature range of 150° C. or higher, and then subjected to plastic working within the temperature range, and then cooled, and then subjected to artificial temper aging. An integral value (F140) of (T(t)?140)2 is controlled to 5×105 (° C.2·s) or less in a section of t1?t?t2, where t is time (s) from heating start, T(t) is temperature (° C.) of the extrusion at time t, t1 is time before the extrusion reaches 140° C. in a heating step, and t2 is time before the extrusion reaches 140° C. again in a cooling step.
