  • Patent number: 5620024
Abstract: An operation member (51) is fixedly secured to a right portion of a relief member (29) inserted into a housing (20). An annular transmission member (52) externally fitted to the operation member (51) is supported by a guide groove (62) so as to be vertically movable and is urged downward by a spring (74). When the relief member (29) doesn't perform the relief operation, a detected portion (65) of the transmission member (52) is made to access a detecting portion (68) of a proximity switch (14) by the operation member (51). At the time of the relief operation, the relief member (29) and the operation member (51) are rapidly moved rightward, so that the detected portion (65) is spaced apart from the detecting portion (68) by the spring (74).

  • Patent number: 5588642
Abstract: A first threaded member (11) is supported by a housing (3) so as to be rotatable about its axis and to be unable to axially advance and retreat. While a second threaded member (22) is threadably engaged with the first threaded member (11) so as to be able to axially advance and retreat, the second threaded member (22) is supported by the housing (3) under the condition that its rotation about its axis is preventable. Under a clamping condition, the second threaded member (22) is strongly tightened by the first threaded member (11) which has been rotated by an impact wrench (16). Thereby, a metal mold (6) is fixedly pressed by a clamping member (5). When changing over from the clamping condition to an unclamping condition, large counterclockwise impacts are intermittently imposed to the first threaded member (11) by the wrench (16). Thereupon, the first threaded member (11) is rotated counterclockwise little by little by those impacts.

  • Patent number: 5493945
Abstract: A supply-discharge valve member (30) inserted into a valve casing (29) can be pushed downward by pressure fluid of an actuation chamber (35). A restriction passage (G) is constituted by a fitting clearance between a valve bore (61) and an opening-closing valve member (62) provided in the valve casing (29). The pressure fluid supplied to the chamber (35) is quickly discharged to an atmosphere side through the restriction passage (G) when an amount of the supplied fluid is extremely a little. When the supplied amount increases, since a flowing resistance of the restriction passage (G) increases and the pressure within the chamber (35) is increased, a closing valve surface (69) of the opening-closing valve member (62) is brought into contact with a valve seat (70) for closing by that pressure to prevent the pressure fluid from being discharged.

  • Patent number: 5476252
Abstract: A fulcrum portion (5a) provided in a midway portion of a clamp arm (5) in the left and right direction is supported vertically pivotably by a housing (3) through a pin (13). A first shaft (21) of a transmission member (18) is fitted into a driven portion (5b) provided in the right portion of the arm (5). A second shaft (22) of the transmission member (18) is so supported by support grooves (25) of the housing (3) through rollers (24) as to be movable in the front and rear direction. The first shaft (21) and a piston rod (50) of a pneumatic cylinder (6) are connected to each other by a lever (19). At the time of clamping, the first shaft (21) is eccentrically rotated clockwise about an axis (A) of the second shaft (22).

  • Patent number: 5468136
Abstract: A clamp rod (20) is inserted into a through hole (2) of a base (1). The rod (20) is provided with a first external thread (21) adapted to engage with a clamping internal thread (11a) of a metal mold (11) and a second external thread (22) adapted to engage with a raising and lowering internal thread (12a). When the metal mold (11) is fixedly secured to the base (1), the rod (20) is rotated by an impact wrench (28). Thereupon, the rod (20) is screwed downward along the raising and lowering internal thread (12a) and then along the clamping internal thread (11a). Thereby, the base (1) is pressed downward by a pressing portion (23) of the rod (20).

  • Patent number: 5462084
Abstract: A cylindrical case (8) is inserted hermetically into a first housing (1) of a socket (A), and the cylindrical case (8) is urged rightward by an advancing spring (9). A sliding cylinder (20) is inserted hermetically into the cylindrical case (8), and the sliding cylinder (20) is urged rightward by another advancing spring (28). As the socket (A) and a plug (B) are connected toward each other, a pushing member (65) arranged at the leading end portion of a second housing (2) of the plug (B) makes the sliding cylinder (20) retreat to an opening position on the left side as well as a first closing member (26) inserted into the sliding cylinder (20) pushes a second closing member (62) inserted into the second housing (2) to , an opening position on the right side.

  • Patent number: 5181701
Abstract: A clamping device including a clamp housing a generally horizontally extending cylinder bore that opens into an upwardly and rearwardly sloping guide bore formed in a front portion of the clamp housing is disclosed. A clamping member is shiftably mounted within the guide bore and a piston is shiftably mounted within the cylinder bore. The clamping member is formed with a groove into which a projection, carried by the piston, is fitted. By this arrangement, movement of the piston forces the clamping member to shift in an inclined direction between clamping and unclamping positions.
