Patent number: 4506707Abstract: A heddle frame in which the heddles have enlarged heads which are slidably mounted in guide channels in the side beams. To remove the heddles the heads are slid longitudinally in the guide channels until they come to a channel opening port which permits them to be removed transversely to the guide channels.Type: GrantFiled: July 20, 1983Date of Patent: March 26, 1985Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha Maruyama SeisakushoInventor: Yoichi Shimizu

Patent number: 4366843Abstract: A two part guide plate of a heddle frame is disclosed. One element of the guide plate is fixed to the heddle frame and has a groove into which a movable element is pivotably inserted. The fixed and movable elements are pivotably connected by a connection pin and mate with one another at corresponding fitting parts having sloped contacting surfaces. A projection and depression on the fixed and movable elements cooperate to hold the movable element in an upright position, however sufficient force on the movable element will permit it to be overthrown so that the clearance between the heddle frame and a drawing in machine can be increased.Type: GrantFiled: April 2, 1981Date of Patent: January 4, 1983Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha Maruyama SeisakushoInventor: Yoichi Shimizu

Patent number: 4355667Abstract: A heddle frame usable in a high speed loom is disclosed. The heddle frame includes hollow horizontal aluminum bars joined to vertical side stays. Each joint consists of a receptacle in an end of an aluminum bar, including a channel section into which an extension of a connecting piece held within a side stay may be inserted for joining the aluminum bar and side stay. A fixing bolt passes through the connecting piece and is threaded into a bore of the receptacle.Type: GrantFiled: June 11, 1980Date of Patent: October 26, 1982Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha Maruyama SeisakushoInventor: Yoichi Shimizu

Patent number: 4307757Abstract: A side stay for a heddle frame is disclosed. The heddle frame has a hollow metal frame member which is filled with a plastic material and has an opening in one wall thereof. A supporting element extends from the plastic material through the opening in the metal frame and is insertable within a hollow side beam of the heddle frame, to which it may be fixed. The supporting element can be either unitary with the plastic material or connected to the frame via connecting elements.Type: GrantFiled: February 13, 1980Date of Patent: December 29, 1981Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha Maruyama SeisakushoInventor: Yoichi Shimizu

Patent number: 4275772Abstract: A joint between a cross bar and a side-stay of a heddle frame is disclosed. The cross bar is hollow and has a joint block inserted in the end thereof. The joint block extends into the hollow side-stay and contacts a pressing piece and a pressure receiving piece on opposite sides thereof. The pressing piece has a V-shaped projection which mates with a V-shaped groove on one face of the joint block for mating contact therebetween. The pressing piece and joint block have aligned bolt holes which are in turn aligned with a threaded hole in the pressure receiving piece. A clamping bolt is insertable through the bolt holes and screwable into the threaded hole to secure the pressing piece, joint block and pressure receiving piece together for securing the joint of the heddle frame.Type: GrantFiled: February 1, 1980Date of Patent: June 30, 1981Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha Maruyama SeisakushoInventor: Yoichi Shimizu

Patent number: 4230159Abstract: An improved heddle frame for a weaving machine. The heddle frame consists of a pair of lateral beams and a pair of side stays attached thereto. Each lateral beam has an inner hollow portion at each end while the side stays have a projection at each end which is inserted into a hollow end portion of a lateral beam. Each projection is freely rotatably fixed in its respective hollow end portion by a pin. The upper surface and lower surface of each projection respectively contact the upper and lower inner surfaces of its respective hollow end portion while said upper and lower surfaces of each projection form a circular surface, the center of which is on the axial horizontal center line of its respective pin.Type: GrantFiled: December 20, 1978Date of Patent: October 28, 1980Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha Maruyama SeisakushoInventor: Yoichi Shimizu
