    Abstract: A supplying apparatus and a supplying method of granular material in which granular material is supplied to a measuring container provided on a lower side so as to reach a target measurement value which is determined in advance. The supplying apparatus includes a storage container storing granular material, a valve body provided in the storage container so as to be opened when granular material is supplied, and a control section controlling open and close operations of the valve body. The control section keeps the valve body at an open position until a detection value of a detecting section of the measuring container becomes a predetermined value smaller than the target measurement value when the target measurement value exceeds a threshold value which is determined in advance. The control section opens the valve body in a pulsed way until the detection value of the detecting section becomes the target measurement value when the target measurement value is under the threshold value.

    Abstract: A mixing and blending method for powdered or granular material includes supplying pulsating vibration air into an airtight tank from a bottom thereof. An airtight tank having a porous bottom plate on which the material is stored is provided for the mixing and blending method. In the system pulsating vibration air is generated by periodically increasing and decreasing the amount of blowing air at a low frequency. Pulsating vibration air is introduced into the airtight tank from the bottom of the airtight tank so as to generate air flow going upward through the porous bottom of the airtight tank. As a result, powdered or granular material stored on the porous bottom plate in the airtight tank is uniformly mixed and blended in the airtight tank while continuously moving up and down as in a convectional manner.

    Abstract: A pneumatic transport system for powdered materials for quantifying and pneumatically transferring powdered materials. When materials are fed above an inclined guide plate in a material feeder with its bottom opening closed by a valve plug, a slide damper is slid to divide the materials in the feeder vertically. An open space is formed under the inclined guide plate so that the materials aren't damaged when the slide damper is moved. When the valve plug is retracted, the materials under the slide damper are fed into a transport plug housed in a plug setting portion. The transport plug is pneumatically transported into a material discharge port by compressed air supplied by an air supply. After the transportation is finished, the transport plug is returned into the plug setting portion.
