The withstand voltage layer preferably has a thickness of 0.2 mm or more, a volume electrical resistivity within a range of 105 ?-cm through 109 ?-cm at room temperature, and a matrix hardness of 80 JIS-A or less. Further, the conductive compressive layer preferably has a volume electrical resistivity of 104 ?-cm or less at room temperature, and a porosity of 30 to 70%. • Patent number: 7562624
Abstract: In a printing blanket comprising a reinforcement layer formed of more than one sheet of fabric, a compressive layer, and a surface rubber layer laid through a supporting body, the compressive layer is separated by a separation layer so as to be divided into two layers of a first compressive layer and a second compressive layer. Because the compressive layer is formed in a two-layer construction, normal printing pressure and abruptly applied excessive printing pressure can be efficiently absorbed. It is preferable that the first compressive layer close to the surface rubber layer has an air space amount of 0.10-0.20 mm, and the entire part of the first compressive layer and second compressive layer has an air space amount of 0.25 mm or more. It is also preferable that the hardness of the compressive layer is 50-90 JIS-A, and the separation layer has a hardness of 50 JIS-A-80 JID-D and a thickness of 0.05 mm.

  • Patent number: 6695015
Abstract: An ultralow expansion brake rubber hose comprising an inner rubber tube, a first reinforcing layer, a second reinforcing layer and an outer rubber layer, wherein a thermosetting resin which penetrates the reinforcing fibers constituting the first reinforcing layer and which is cured at vulcanizing temperatures is cured by vulcanization to turn the first reinforcing layer into a solid cured layer. By turning the first reinforcing layer into the solid cured layer, the mutual slippage between the reinforcing fibers of the first reinforcing layer can be prevented, and a brake rubber hose having low expansion and excellent durability can be obtained.

  • Patent number: 6467669
Abstract: A pinch roller apparatus which can stably move a tape in accordance with a sufficient self-aligning function is provided. A circular sliding plate brought into contact with both of an upper end surface and a lower end surface of a plain bearing is mounted to a pinch roller shaft so as to restrict an incline of the plain bearing. When setting a length of an axial gap between the circular sliding plate brought into contact with the upper end surface of the plain bearing and the plain bearing to A and a length of an outer diameter of the circular sliding plate to B, the structure is made such as to satisfy a relation 0.007≦A/B≦0.06. Further, when setting a clearance in a diametrical direction between the pinch roller shaft and the sliding surface of the plain bearing to X and an effective length of the sliding surface of the plain bearing to Y, it is preferable to structure so as to satisfy the relation X/Y≧0.052.

  • Patent number: 5344196
Abstract: The present invention incorporates a nipple to be inserted inside a hose and a sleeve formed concentrically with the nipple. An annular groove is formed on the outer periphery of the nipple to receive the expanded portion of the rubber toward the tip end of the nipple when the sleeve is caulked and to prevent the rubber from bulging at the tip end of the nipple. The annular groove is configured so that it can receive a portion of the inner rubber wall of hose when the hose is inserted between the nipple and the sleeve when the latter is caulked. The annular groove may be located on the outer periphery of the nipple, such as at a position offset from being in-line with where the sleeve is caulked and nearer to the tip end of the nipple. The number of annular grooves is not limited to one, and may be plural. When plural grooves are formed, they may be arranged adjacent to each other or spaced at a given interval.

  • Patent number: 5326503
Abstract: A latticed packing member for gas-liquid contacting system having an odd number of plural longitudinal strips and an even number of plural lateral strips, the latter number being one less the number of the longitudinal strips. These strips are crossed at right angles on their sides, and the bottom thereof is chamfered. At least one projected area is provided on the strips, on which a notch for engagement is formed. At the center of lattice sections other than sections provided with the projected areas, there is provided a reinforcement with a flat bottom. The longitudinal strip located at the center of the member coincides with the axial center line X of the lateral strip in the direction A of its length, and the axial center line Y of the longitudinal strip in the direction B of its length is formed by the lateral strip which passes the center of the lateral lattice section located at the center. The axial center lines X and Y intersect with each other at the center.

  • Patent number: 4702867
Abstract: A method for continuously vulcanizing hoses which comprises two steps: microwave vulcanization; and conventional vulcanization by heat conduction through a heating medium. A layer of heat-resistant synthetic resin which has a melting point higher than the vulcanizing temperature is provided over the outer periphery of a rubber hose in a uniform thickness. This layer is in close contact with the hose but not adherent thereto. After the resin layer is cooled and hardened, the rubber hose is heated and cured in a microwave vulcanizing tank before being subjected to vulcanization by heat conduction through a heating medium in an ordinary vulcanizing tank. After completion of vulcanization, the layer of synthetic resin is peeled off and removed.
