  • Patent number: 6401004
Abstract: A device for analyzing NC program is provided with a machining method analyzing means (34) which extracts machining conditions for every machining work element by analyzing an actual NC machining program, and data base creating means (35). The device extracts necessary machining information from the actual NC machining program and allows the data bases (21, 22, 23 and 24) to reflect the information.

  • Patent number: 6400998
Abstract: A method and apparatus for NC machining management based on a measurement program, wherein a machining shape at an arbitrary machining stage is determined by an NC program, a geometric element or a geometric model is generated, and a measurement program is generated on the basis of the geometric model. The measurement program is executed when at least one of the steps of the NC program is completed, and the results of measurement are used as control information for machining measurement.

  • Patent number: 6286055
Abstract: There is here disclosed a movement error compensating device for a movable unit such as a slider in a numerical control machine tool. A laser beam is emitted from a reference position beam generator installed on a fixed base in the movement direction of the slider. The slider is provided with a beam passing position detector, which detects a deviation on YZ planes of the laser beam. In order to properly detect the irradiation direction of the laser beam, the fixed base is equipped with a movement end beam position detector.

  • Patent number: 6266572
Abstract: A method of simulation of NC machining, wherein machining simulation is carried out according to blank shape data, tool shape data and an NC program to modify the NC program or interpolation data by feedforward control so that optimum cutting conditions can be obtained. The simulation result can be used for correcting the NC program and the interpolation data at the next stage. Further, a record of tools used can be generated on the basis of this simulation result.

  • Patent number: 6223095
Abstract: An apparatus and a method for generating orientation action commands of NC machine tools. Workpiece surfaces are grouped according to inclination of the surfaces on the basis of machining information. Optimum orientation angles are decided for each of the groups, and numerical control commands are generated on the basis of the decided orientation angle.

  • Patent number: 5140739
Abstract: A spindle unit comprising a solid shaft main spindle of a highly rigid material such as cemented carbide, with the main spindle being rotatably supported in a spindle head by bearings less apt to generate heat. A tool-clamping device including an adapter attached to a front end of the main spindle, and a tool holder carries a rotary tool. On of the adapter and the holder comprises a short columnar lug, with the other of the adapter and holder comprising a cylindrical hole shrinkage-fitted on the lug. The member having the hole is made of a material having a coefficient of thermal expansion lower than a coefficient of thermal expansion of the other member. The tool-clamping device further comprises heating and cooling devices for heating and cooling the member having the hole.

  • Patent number: 5133538
Abstract: A table for securing a pallet supporting a workpiece to a machine tool, the table having a spindle movable in a vertical direction. When the spindle ascends, the clamp arms move outward thereby to enable the clamp pawl to clamp the pallet at a clamping position, and when the spindle descends, the clamp arms are withdrawn to release the pallet from clamp.
