The pair of auxiliary beams each is bridged in a predetermined relationship to the opposite main beams of the main beams adjacent to and spaced from each other or the opposite cross beams of the cross beams adjacent to and spaced from each other on the inner side of the ceiling wall in relation to the access opening.

    Abstract: A top rail for handrails comprises a top rail body formed of soft synthetic resin, semi-hard synthetic resin or synthetic rubber and having a bendable metal core incorporated therein extending in the longitudinal direction thereof. The bendable metal core is bendable under a force in excess of a predetermined value and maintains the top rail body in its bent position when the core is bent together with the body. The bendable metal core can be the form of an elongated solid steel bar, to which a lubricant has been applied to the surface thereof and soft or semi-hard synthetic resin is extruded about the lubricant applied surface to form the top rail body. The bendable metal core can also be in the form of an elongated solid aluminum or aluminum alloy bar to which is applied adhesive about the surface thereof and soft or semi-hard synthetic resin is extruded about the adhesive applied surface.

    Abstract: A stair nosing is constituted by a flat frame for lying on a tread of a stair, a non-skid flat tire-like sheet adapted to be snappedly engaged to the flat frame and a tongue-shaped protector for the engaging portion of the flat sheet frame and the non-skid flat sheet. The non-skid flat sheet includes a connecting plate of rigid synthetic resin having a flange with a rib at one edge and a non-skid flat tread of flexible synthetic resin integrally formed on the upper surface of the connecting plate. The tongue-shaped protector is integrally formed with the non-skid flat tread so as to cover the engaging portion of the frame sheet and be spaced from a riser of the stair when the non-skid flat sheet is secured to the flat sheet frame.

    Abstract: A stair nosing is constituted by an edge base made of a hard material and adapted to be installed on the tread of a stair step, and an edge bead cushion formed on a surface of the edge base so as to be located at the stair tread nosing of the stair step. A positioning groove is formed on the surface of the edge base behind the edge bead cushion, and a gripper is adapted to be set in the positioning groove and to be secured to the edge base. The edge base is provided with a riser cover integrally formed at the front edge thereof so as to be positioned on the riser of the step in a manner to fit over the stair tread nosing. The gripper is composed of a sheet member adapted to be positioned in the groove and a number of spaced nails projected from the surface of the sheet member.

The bearings are projected on one framework of the opposite inner surfaces of the outer framework and the opposite outer surfaces of the inner framework, and have U-shaped bearing surfaces. The axis are projected on another framework of the opposite inner surfaces of the outer surfaces of the inner framework, and pivotally supported to the bearings, respectively.
