  • Patent number: 6679091
Abstract: A stretch bending device that can conduct accurate bending without using heavy material. A tension application mechanism 62 comprises first and second drive sources for movably supporting both ends of a guide member 12 with respect to a pair of arm members 28, 30 and moving the guide member 12 along the arm members 28, 30. Between the arm members 28, 30, a work piece 6 is arranged. There are tension sensor 98 for detecting tension applied to the work piece 6 and position sensors for detecting positions of the guide member 12. Torque of the first drive source is controlled based on the tension detected by the tension sensor 98, and the second drive force is controlled based on the positions detected by the position sensors.

  • Patent number: 6237380
Abstract: There is disclosed a bending device, in which working data of feeding pitch between bending points, bending direction angle and bending angel is prepared from design data of a work, and a dividing point is determined to share the bending process by first and second joint type robots at one place of a straight line of the work able to be held by a chuck mechanism. After trial working, the working data is corrected. During the working, the first and second joint type robots having joints rotatable around axes parallel with the axial direction of the work are moved to the bending position. The work is held by a bending die and a clamping die rotatable around the bending die of a bending mechanism attached to the tip end of each joint type robot, and bent/worked by rotating the clamping die.

When moving to the next moving position, each joint is rotated to change the attitude of the bending mechanism, and the bending mechanism is moved along the work while the work remains between the bending die and the clamping die.

  • Patent number: 6128936
Abstract: A bulging device and a bulging method for bulging a workpiece into an accurate shape, and preventing the generation of cracks therein. High pressure liquid is supplied to the interior space of a workpiece and from an external pressure supply mechanism to the outer space of the workpiece in cavity. An internal pressure detection sensor or an external pressure detection sensor is controlled according to the detected pressure, thereby controlling the pressure of the interior space of the workpiece or the pressure of the outer space of the workpiece in the cavity. Alternatively, position sensors for detecting displacement of pushing dies are provided such that the pressure of the interior space of the workpiece or the pressure of the outer space of the workpiece in the cavity is controlled according to the detected displacement.

  • Patent number: 5819574
Abstract: A hydraulic device provided with a plurality of hydraulic actuators directly connected to a hydraulic pump for control. A hydraulic pump is operable in both rotational directions when the electric motor is rotated forwards and in reverse. Ports of each hydraulic actuator are connected via a connecting line in parallel with ports of the hydraulic pump. A plurality of electromagnetic valves are provided in the connecting lines to the hydraulic actuators. By opening or closing each electromagnetic valve, the operation of the associated hydraulic actuator is controlled. The operation direction of each hydraulic actuator is controlled by rotating the electric motor clockwise or counterclockwise. Further, a position sensor is provided for detecting displacement of the specified hydraulic actuator and the electric motor is controlled based on a signal transmitted from the position sensor.
