  • Patent number: 6745948
Abstract: A spiral spray coating method, comprising the step of forming a second pressurizing air flow which is discharged from a number of second pressurizing air holes (13) positioned concentrically with and outwardly-shaped from first pressurizing air holes (12), on the outside of the first pressurizing air flow which is discharged from a number of first pressurizing air holes (12) disposed concentrically with an opening of an adhesive agent hole (11) so as to feed the second pressurizing air flow (K2) to the outside of the first pressurizing air flow (K1) in order to form an air curtain of the second pressurizing air flow on the outside of a spiral of a hot-melt adhesive agent fiber; a spiral spray coating apparatus using the spiral spray coating method.

  • Patent number: 6311899
Abstract: A truncated cone which causes pressurized air flow from plural pressurized air holes to rotate and flow down along the circumferential surface of the truncated cone is provided connectedly at the underside of a nozzle base. A pair of (right and left) downward slanting surfaces which are recessed in V-shape (in side view) are formed in such a fashion that they oppose to each other and slant upward and toward the center. A nozzle projection whose underside is a non-circular shape having a minor axis in the direction where the lower ends of the downward slanting surfaces exist and a major axis in the direction where the lower ends of the downward slanting surfaces do not exist, is provided connectedly at the underside of the truncated cone. In the second invention of the present application, adhesive exposing surface is formed at a part of the downward slanting surface.
