Abstract: An extension passage for extending a label tape is horizontally provided, and a recessed label tape storage which is open at its upper side is provided for storing a roll of label tape at one end of this extension passage, a platen roller which is driven and rotated by an electric circuit is provided at the other end of the extension passage and a detector for detecting a position of a label on the label tape is provided at a middle position of the extension passage. The platen roller described above is provided to be opposed to a thermal printing head so that the thermal printing head approaches and moves away from the platen roller and this printing head is supported by a head holder which has a pivotal point at the side of the extension passage, which is entirely exposed when the head holder is vertically raised up.

Abstract: A desk top type label printer in which a thermal printing head unit having a thermal printing head and a tape depressing mechanism arranged opposed to the thermal printing head unit are provided inside a casing which is open at a lateral side where an openable cover is provided and the thermal printing head unit and tape depressing mechanism are respectively supported by shafts which protrude from the internal wall of the casing toward the opening side of the casing and have their opening side end as a free end, the tape depressing mechanism being pivoted on the associated shaft and provided with a platen roller at its turnable end so that the platen roller comes in contact under pressure with the thermal printing head whereby the tape depressing mechanism is engaged with and fixed to the supporting shaft for the thermal printing head unit.

Abstract: The labeler in accordance with the present invention is constructed so that a plurality of labels which are consecutively stuck onto a carrier strip are separated in sequence from the carrier strip by turning back the carrier strip at the carrier strip turnback part and intermittently feeding said carrier strip along with the rotational movement of the feed drum. Two feed rollers which depress the carrier strip onto the feed drum are provided. A circular guide member which forms a clearance for feeding the carrier strip between said guide member and the outer periphery of the feed drum is provided between said two fed rollers, and a pivotable frame is provided between the feed rollers for which said guide member is not provided, and a stripper is provided on the inside of the pivotable frame to separate the carrier strip fed by the feed drum from said feed drum.

Abstract: A manually-operated labeler for dispensing labels from a carrier strip having labels stuck onto the carrier strip. The labeler has a casing in which there is a carrier strip feeding mechanism driven by an actuating mechanism for advancing the carrier strip and turning it back at a turnback part to separate a label from the carrier strip. A printing device is provided which moves toward the turnback part for printing a label which is passing thereover on the carrier strip.The handle extended from said case is opposed to a lever provided as a part of the actuating mechanism and a checking device is dividedly provided on the lever and the handle to generate a signal when the lever approaches the handle. The printing device performs a rocking motion with a guide. The ink supplying device opposing the printing device has an ink roller arranged on the cover of the case.

Abstract: A labeler in which a carrier strip onto which a number of labels are stuck is intermittently fed as far as specified by a carrier strip feeding mechanism provided in a case and turned back at the carrier strip turnback part to separate the labels in succession from the carrier strip and move ahead the labels one by one. The application member which comes in contact with the printed surface of the label is provided ahead of the carrier strip turnback part of the labeler and a label support frame which supports the label separated from the carrier strip is provided between the label application member and the carrier strip turnback part.

Abstract: A labeler for dispensing labels from a carrier strip having labels stuck onto the strip. The labeler has a case in which is a carrier strip feeding mechanism driven by an actuating mechanism for advancing the carrier strip so as to turn it around a turnback member for separating the label from the carrier strip. A printing apparatus is provided which moves toward the turnback member for printing a label which is passing thereover on the carrier strip. The printing apparatus is mounted on the operating part of the actuating mechanism so that it can rock in a direction transverse to its plane of movement so that it can adjust to the level of the turnback member. The labeler also has a guide member for guiding the carrier strip over a feed drum which can be pivoted out of the way to thread a carrier strip into the labeler. An ink applying device is provided having a resilient guide engaged with the ink applying roller so that it can be moved out of the way to remove the roller.

Abstract: A tape printer adapted so that a tape which employs a paper tape for printing is extended to a printing position, a type of a type wheel is opposed to a tape leading part at said printing position, said type and tape leading part are impressed to print the type onto the paper tape, said type wheel is provided with types arranged on its periphery in sequence in a circumferential direction of the type wheel and the type wheel is rotated to move a desired type to the printing position.
