Patents Assigned to Kabushiki Kaisha Wako
  • Patent number: 4818973
Abstract: A system for detecting a transfer of article comprising a card attached to the article and a detector. When the article having the card is transferred to a monitoring area, electromagnetic signals are transmitted in advance from the detector to the monitoring area, and received by the card. Then, high frequency signals are transmitted from the card to the detector, thereby a transfer of the article can be detected.

  • Patent number: 4433568
Abstract: A disc-like or annular workpiece within a set of closed dies undergoes lateral flow in a first direction (e.g., radially outward or inward, depending upon the geometry of the die cavity) as the upper die is forced against the lower, with the workpiece being now restrained from flowing in other directions. Toward the end of forging, when the metal offers a rapid increase in resistance to flowing, the workpiece is set free of the restraint from flowing in a second direction, generally opposite to the first direction, as by creating a bore centrally therein or by cutting off its peripheral portion. Then, upon resumption of forging, the workpiece flows in both first and second directions, completing the desired flow in the first direction with no greater forging force than before.

  • Patent number: 4400964
Abstract: A blank material having a configuration corresponding to the flange part of the article is first punched by a punch member and a die member from a planar strip material, the blank is press-formed into a hollow article by further pressing the punch member and die member and projecting a mandrel having outer diameter corresponding to the inner diameter of the hollow article. Then, the punch member, die member and mandrel are returned to their original position thereby to deliver a completed article. The above one cycle operation is continuously repeated per shift of the strip member by one article distance.

  • Patent number: 4299112
Abstract: A planar blank material to be press-formed is confined in a space formed by punch means having peripheral flange part provided with gear teeth corresponding to those of the hollow product, a mandrel provided slidably in the central hole of said punch means and having outer diameter corresponding to the inner diameter of the hollow product, and a die means having bottom surface and through hole having inner contour corresponding to the outer contour of the boss part of the product. By the pressing action, the peripheral flange part having teeth of the product is formed and simultaneously boss part of the product is formed whereby the synchronizer ring product is formed by one step and the blank material corresponding to the through hole of the product and the product are both ejected out by returning the punch means, mandrel, and die means.

  • Patent number: 4245491
Abstract: A planar material to be press-formed is confined in a space having a contour corresponding to the outer contour of the flange part of an article to be produced and is pressed between a punch member having a through hole corresponding to the outer contour of the hollow main part of the article and another die member holding slidably a mandrel having an outer contour corresponding to the inner contour of the internal bore of the hollow article, the mandrel being simultaneously projected into the through hole of the first member. By the pressing action, the peripheral part of the material is formed into the flange part of the article while an inward flow of the material is caused, thereby elevating the surface of the material in the through hole of the punch member and forming a recess in the opposite side surface of the material. The mandrel is projected simultaneously with said pressing action, whereby topless hat-shaped product is easily formed by one step.
