The rice polisher includes a grain-lifting spiral for transporting white rice above from below, a water-pouring port for pouring polishing water, the water-pouring port being disposed at a head portion, a discharge port for discharging the white rice, the discharge port being disposed at the head portion, and a rice-polishing roll for polishing rice by agitating together with the polishing water poured from the water-pouring port the white rice pressurized by transportation by the grain-lifting spiral, with the polisher discharging from the discharge port the white rice that has been polished.

Abstract: A color-based sorting apparatus comprising, a material supplying device provided so as to discharge and supply the grains stored therein, a color detecting device detecting a color of each of the grains passing through a setting region, a sorting processing section operating to change a transference path for defective grains, a control device, which determines whether each of the grains to be sorted is defective or not based on a detection signal from the color detecting device, and when it is determined that one of the grains is defective, the control device activating the sorting processing section, and a feeding roll disposed between the material supplying device and the color detecting device and rotating around an axial line thereof to cause the grains to be sorted, which are supplied from said material supplying device aligned in an axial direction, to freely fall down toward the color detecting device.

Abstract: In an agitating machine, an axial direction of a drive roll is inclined to one side or another side with respect to an axial direction of a guide shaft which is rotated on its own axis, whereby a drive support machine casing and a driven support machine casing are moved to one end side or another end side of the guide shaft. When an arrival detecting apparatus detects that the drive support machine casing or the driven support machine casing has reached the one end side or the another end side of the guide shaft, a control apparatus drives a reversing motor so as to incline the axial direction of the drive roll to the another side or the one side. Since the arrival detecting apparatus, the reversing motor and the control apparatus are electrically driven, it is possible to securely incline the axial direction of the drive roll.

Abstract: A hulling apparatus that can improve hulling efficiency and hulling roll durability. A first air nozzle and a second air nozzle to cool surfaces of hulling rolls by blowing compressed air thereto are provided at a vicinity of the hulling rolls of the hulling apparatus. Consequently, a hardness of a rubber layer at the surfaces of the hulling rolls can be prevented from being lowered. Thus, hulling efficiency and hulling roll durability can be improved.
