  • Patent number: 5735308
Abstract: The present invention relates to an automatic constant-pressure lift valve provided with a pilot valve unit having an A valve unit and a B valve unit, and an external control force applying means that can be simply adjusted to set a predetermined valve-outlet pressure.A main valve unit is constructed so that an abnormal rise in the valve-outlet pressure can be avoided at start and stop and continuous operation of a pumping or conveying pump facility. The automatic constant-pressure lift valve has a construction capable of easily maintaining watertightness when the line is shut off.The pilot valve unit is not provided with any fixed flow restriction regulating passage, such as a needle valve. When the main valve unit, and the A valve unit and the B valve unit of the pilot valve unit are clogged, those valves open automatically for automatic cleaning. This constant-pressure lift valve has an excellent industrial effect.

  • Patent number: 5713556
Abstract: The present invention provides a high-performance, economical valve. In the valve, a valve element (4) is supported by a valve element support shaft (6) on an arm member (5) with a degree of freedom of turning, and the arm member (5) is supported by a valve element operating shaft (7) supported on a valve casing (1) at a position thereon spaced a distance apart from a position thereon at which the valve element support shaft (6) supports the valve element (4) on the arm member (5). One end par (4a) of the valve element (4) is biased constantly toward one end part (5a) of the arm member (5). When the valve is opened in a fully open state by applying external torque to the valve element operating shaft (7), the valve element (4) extends along the streamline of fluid flow to reduce head loss due to resistance exerted by the valve element (4) on fluid flow. The valve element (4) is brought into uniform, close contact with a sealing surface (3m) of a valve seat (3) to stop fluid flow.

  • Patent number: 5642752
Abstract: The present invention relates to a controllable constant flow regulating lift valve of a direct-acting automat ic control type that operates on an operating force derived from the condition of a working fluid, such as valve-inlet pressure prevailing in the inlet passage, valve-outlet pressure prevailing in the outlet passage, variation of liquid level on the side of the outlet and so on. The flow regulating valve comprises a flow regulating valve structure and a slide valve structure for automatic flow restriction control. In the controllable constant flow regulating lift valve, axial thrust acting on the spindle of a lift valve type flow regulating valve structure is balanced such that the constant flow regulating lift valve can be operated for constant flow regulation by a very small power.

  • Patent number: 4982823
Abstract: A bidirectional clutch for a pulley drive has a rotary cam adapted to be mounted on an upright drive shaft of a motor, a pulley body having a drum portion coaxial with and spaced from the rotary cam, a plurality of rotary bodies positioned in the space between the drum portion and the rotary cam, and a guide member for rotatably supporting the rotary bodies for movement toward and away from the drum portion, a face of the rotary cam being opposed to the drum portion having a cam portion which, upon the cam being rotated relative to the rotary bodies and the drum portion through an angle equal to or greater than a predetermined angle, moves the rotary bodies toward and pressed them into engagement with the drum portion to transmit the rotational force of the motor to the drum portion and the pulley body.

  • Patent number: 4965498
Abstract: An electrically operated drawing system for drawing and undrawing curtains includes an electric motor, a clutch having a solenoid, a rotation detector for detecting rotation of the electric motor, an operating switch for outputting command signals, and a control logic circuit. The control logic circuit controls the rotation of the motor and the activation of the clutch. The clutch is used to operatively engaged the rotating motor with the curtains to thereby draw and undraw the curtains. The clutch includes a first spur gear drivable by the electric motor and a second spur gear operatively connected to the curtains. The clutch further includes an arm pivotally mounted to the second spur gear and a solenoid connected to the arm. A movement of the solenoid cause a movement of the arm to operatively engage the first and second spur gears.
