  • Patent number: 4229003
Abstract: A fishing toy or game has a square base which contains a rotating circular turntable representing a water tank or pond, and on which a number of magnetically attractive small toy fishes are placed as if swimming in a pond. A button-operated toy animal is swivelably fitted to each corner of the base and operates such that depression of the button brings a portion of the toy animal into momentary close proximity with the revolving turntable. Internally disposed springs quickly return the toy animal to a semi-upright position, even if the button remains depressed. A magnet is carried in the portion of the toy animal which comes into proximity with the turntable, and if depression of the button is accurately coordinated with the movement of the fishes on the turntable, the toy animal will magnetically pick up one of the fishes from the turntable.

  • Patent number: 4227698
Abstract: This game for children is played using a plurality of like-shaped playing pieces or tiles divided into sets having an equal number of pieces per set. Each piece of a set has a particular design in a particular color on one exposed surface of a piece. The other exposed surfaces of each piece are unmarked. The design and color utilized have been selected to be easily recognized by a young child and distinguishable from the other designs and colors used. A fixed number of pieces are selected randomly by players of the game to form a hand leaving a set number of remaining undivided pieces. Each selected piece can be conveniently placed in a support rack carried by a four-sided frame of a playing board. Each player in rotation then selects a piece from the undivided remaining pieces. The player retains the selected piece if the design or color of the design matches that of a piece in the hand.

  • Patent number: 4226421
Abstract: A table game set consists of a game board with alternating starting marks and goal marks on each side thereof and with a number of projected islands on the board to receive the pegged ends of playing pieces. The playing pieces are toy bridges resembling several types of bridges, having a length coordinated to span the distances between the islands on the game board. A random indicator operated by the players shows which bridge shaped piece is to be used next as the players take turns placing bridges on the board in an effort to be the first to complete a bridge path spanning corresponding start and goal marks on opposite sides of the board.

  • Patent number: 4215866
Abstract: A table game set has two player's boards with vertical and horizontal lines thereon to form squares and playing pieces of types having a straight line, a T-shaped line, an L-shaped line or crossed lines drawn on different pieces. Two players sit face-to-face with the set between them and compete to form lines from the start line to the goal line on their respective boards to earn points by arranging pieces in turn. The boards are separated by a surface integral with the boards on which the playing pieces yet to be used may be placed to be selected by the players. A plurality of adjacent bars are slideably held beneath the surface between the boards, with the ends of the bars extending outwardly to designate an award of points when a line from a starting line to a goal line is completed.
