    Abstract: The invention comprises a chair for cutting children's hair. The chair has a base portion and a hydraulic cylinder and piston with the cylinder mounted to the base to hydraulically raise and lower the piston. A platform having a series of steps of different heights is mounted to the top of the piston and an animated object is mounted on the platform. The platform has steps on each side of the object. The platform has a central saddle portion for a child to sit astride with its legs straddling on each side of the object.
