  • Patent number: 11084067
Abstract: A mobile decontamination system has an internal combustion engine, a generator, a first pump, a boiler and a second pump. The engine is coupled to the generator and to the first pump. The first pump is designed for discharging a first decontamination medium via a first spray lance. The second pump is designed for discharging a second decontamination medium via a second spray lance. A system controller is designed for selectively operating the first pump and the heating boiler in one of at least two different operating modes. In the first operating mode, the first pump delivers a first volumetric flow through the boiler which is at such a high level that the first decontamination medium is in liquid form. In a second operating mode, the first pump delivers a second volumetric flow through the boiler which is at such a low level that the first decontamination medium transfers into gaseous form.

  • Patent number: 10640998
Abstract: A mobile container building for military, humanitarian and/or expeditionary applications has a transportable container with a floor panel, a ceiling panel and side walls, which together define an interior space having a longitudinal extent. An interior arrangement, which provides a functional working area for deployed personnel, is arranged in the interior space. The floor panel has a ribbed structure including a plurality of ribs evenly spaced apart from one another on a side oriented towards the interior space. A load-bearing steel sheet is secured onto the ribbed structure. The steel sheet covers the ribbed structure and carries the interior arrangement.

  • Patent number: 10170210
Abstract: A device system for military and/or humanitarian operations, in particular a mobile decontamination system, comprises a plurality of power-operated units, accessory parts and operating supplies, which together determine a functional scope of the device system. The power-operated units, accessory parts and operating supplies are mounted on a base plate by means of a retaining structure, said base plate having a defined placement surface and anchoring elements. The anchoring elements enable detachable anchoring of the base plate together with the retaining structure to a transport means, in particular to a transport vehicle. The retaining structure is formed from a plurality of self-supporting, structurally identical, cuboid-shaped frames, which are arranged next to each other and/or on top of each other and are fastened to the base plate. The frames each have eight corner pieces and twelve edge profile elements, which together enclose a defined storage volume.

  • Patent number: 9415989
Abstract: An apparatus and method for automatically forming and filling containers, such as water bottles. The apparatus has a plurality of workstations and a conveyer comprising container carriers. The workstations comprise an insertion station, a container forming station, a filling station, a closing station, and an ejection station. The insertion station feeds a container preform into a container carrier. The container forming station forms a container from the container preform. The filling station fills the formed container with a fluid. The closing station closes the filled container with a lid. The conveyer moves the container preform and the container from the insertion station via the container forming station, the filling station and the closing station to the ejection station. The container preform and the container formed from the preform may continuously reside in the container carrier along the whole process beginning with the insertion station and ending with the ejection station.

  • Publication number: 20130227791
Abstract: A portable conveying device for patients who are heavily soiled or chemically, biologically or radioactively contaminated. The device comprises a mechanically flexible rescue sheet, wherein said rescue sheet has a top face that defines a lying surface for receiving a patient in a lying position and an underside opposite the top face. The device further comprises a mechanically flexible underlay sheet that is chemically resistant and impermeable to liquid. The underlay sheet at least partially covers the underside of the rescue sheet and is releasably connected thereto, such that the underlay sheet may in its entirety be disconnected from the rescue sheet and a patient may be carried away with the rescue sheet only.

  • Publication number: 20130227790
Abstract: A stretcher for patients who are heavily soiled or are chemically, biologically or radioactively contaminated. The stretcher comprises a dish-shaped lying arrangement, which extends substantially along a longitudinal direction and has a lying surface for receiving a patient lying substantially along the longitudinal direction. It further comprises a securing arrangement for securing the patient on the lying arrangement and a support frame, which allows the stretcher to be rolled on a ground surface between at least two mechanically stable positions about an axis of rotation arranged parallel to the longitudinal direction. The support frame comprises a first set-down element for setting down the stretcher on the ground surface in a first mechanically stable position, wherein the lying surface is oriented substantially parallel to the ground surface.

  • Patent number: 7803317
Abstract: An apparatus for decontamination of objects, such as temperature-sensitive devices for military applications, comprises a vacuum chamber having an internal space for receiving an object to be decontaminated. A vacuum pump produces a vacuum in the internal space. A heater is used for heating the internal space. A first arrangement is provided for ventilation of the internal space, and a second arrangement is provided for filling the internal space with a gaseous chemical decontamination agent. The apparatus can be used optionally for disinfection or detoxification, with a low decontamination temperature being sufficient in both cases because of the low pressure in the chamber.
