Abstract: A method of processing an image receives a first video including a plurality of frames, obtains importance information indicating importance of at least one region included in the plurality of frames, determines axes of a grid for at least one region of the first video based on the importance information, generates a second video by encoding the first video based on the axes of the grid, and outputs the second video and information about the axes of the grid.

Abstract: Provided is a method of acquiring an optimized closed curved surface image using multiple cameras, and more particularly, an image providing method that produces a single image using a plurality of cameras fixed to a rig and having different capturing viewpoints, the method including projection operation of acquiring a single image by projecting images acquired from the plurality of cameras on a projection surface of a closed curved surface based on parameter information, rendering operation of fitting the acquired single image in a quadrangular frame for each region through a non-uniform sampling process, and viewing operation of mapping the sampled image to a viewing sphere.

Abstract: A natural language processing apparatus is provided with: a dialog processing unit which, every time an analyzable unit of a part of a natural language sentence is inputted, performs analysis processing with respect to the input unit in each of a plurality of analysis processing units in an incremental and parallel manner; and an output unit which obtains an output, such as a dialog response sentence, based on an analysis result from each analysis processing unit in the dialog processing unit. Each of processing units prepared in the dialog processing unit acquires an immediately preceding or an earlier past analysis result from the processing unit, and an immediately preceding or an earlier past analysis results from the other processing units, and obtains one or a limited number of analysis results while making an estimation with reference to the acquired analysis results.
