The system receives, via a network, data corresponding to at least one chat room; displays, based on the data and in a user interface of the instant messenger application, a chat room list; in response to receiving, via the user interface, a user input that indicates focus on a displayed portion of a first chat room, displays, via the user interface, chat room information that comprises metadata corresponding to the first chat room; and based on a determination that a focusing time for the displayed portion of the first chat room satisfies a threshold: displays, via the user interface and during display of the chat room information, a chat preview window corresponding to the first chat room; and displays, in the chat preview window, at least one chat communication occurred in the first chat room.

Abstract: A method for providing an instant messaging service is disclosed. When a target chat room that includes an unread message of a user account exists among one or more chat rooms in which the user account joins, a user terminal displays, on a chat room list screen, a graphic object indicating a target account that transmitted the unread message in an area corresponding to the target chat room. The method may further include displaying an icon indicating a topic of a thread including the unread message and providing summary information of the unread thread before the user enters the chat room. The disclosed method enhances user awareness of unread communications and related topics across multiple chat rooms within an instant messaging service.

Abstract: A server includes at least one processor including processing circuitry, and a memory including one or more storage media storing instructions, wherein the instructions, when executed individually or collectively by the at least one processor, cause the server to provide a position-based chat room entry function. In response to an activation request from a host terminal of the chat room, the server determines a join area based on the position of the host terminal, generates a join code corresponding to the chat room, and transmits information about the generated join code to the host terminal. The server then activates the position-based chat room entry function based on the join code and the join area, allowing guest terminals located within the join area and providing the join code to join the chat room. This enables location-dependent participation while maintaining controlled and secure access through coordinated server processing and temporary join credentials.

Abstract: A user terminal includes a display, at least one processor having processing circuitry, and a memory storing instructions. When executed, the instructions cause the user terminal to display a first chat room screen corresponding to a first chat room in which the user account and another user account participate. On the first chat room screen, the terminal obtains a query message input through a second chat room established between the user account and a virtual object assigned to the user account. Based on a response message generated using at least one message transmitted through the first chat room, the terminal displays the response message through the second chat room. The configuration allows the user to interact with the virtual object within the context of the first chat room, providing a private communication layer that utilizes prior chat data to generate contextually relevant responses.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for providing a comment view is disclosed. A terminal receives a first user input accessing a comment view of a post and receives a comment list of the post from a server. The terminal acquires identification information related to a user and corresponding comment location information. Based on a screen display attribute terminal, at least a portion of comments is displayed on the comment view. When a comment corresponding to the comment location information is not displayed, a button is activated to control the comment view according to the comment location information. In response to a second user input selecting the button, the terminal controls the comment view to display the comment corresponding to the comment location information and deactivates the button. The method enables context-aware navigation of comment content across sessions and devices.

Abstract: Provided is a method and apparatus for video synthesis. The method includes obtaining an advertising target section from a video and sampling speech data of a target speaker from at least part of the audio track. The audio track corresponding to the target speaker is then changed into speech synthesis data, wherein the target speaker utters an advertising script related to an advertising object. In parallel, the lip movement of the target speaker in the video track is modified to match the utterance of the advertising script. This approach allows for seamless integration of personalized advertisements into video content by synchronizing both speech and visual lip movements with the advertising script.

Abstract: A server may include one or more processors configured to receive, from a sender terminal associated with a sender account, a message transmission request requesting delivery of a message to a user account via a chatroom. The one or more processors determine a type of the message as one of a plurality of types, including an advertisement type and an information type, based on the message transmission request. Upon determining that the message is of the information type, the one or more processors transmit the message along with the information indicating a restriction on displaying at least a portion of content provided in the chatroom to a user terminal of the user account. This enables the user terminal to dynamically control the visibility of non-essential or promotional content, such as advertisements or service buttons, thereby enhancing the user experience by improving focus on critical or sensitive information.

An operating method of a terminal on which an application for a messaging service is installed includes displaying a keyword of a first type in a chat interface, wherein the keyword of the first type is detected from a text input into a message input window of the chat interface in a first input mode, based on a request corresponding to a keyword of a second type detected from the text, changing an input mode of the chat interface to a second input mode, and in response to the input mode being changed, replacing displaying of the keyword of the first type with displaying of an interfacing object corresponding to the keyword of the second type.
