Abstract: Disclosed are a method and apparatus for providing an instant messaging service associated with one or more item transactions. A first user interface screen associated with an item transaction may be provided in a chatroom interface of an executed messenger application. The first user interface screen may comprise an interfacing object associated with a list of user interface templates. Based on a user selection of the interface object and based at least one exposure condition associated with the list of user interface templates, at least one user interface template may be selected from the list of user interface templates for display in a second user interface screen of the executed messenger application. In a second user interface screen of the executed messenger application, a first user interface template of the at least one user interface template may be displayed.

Abstract: A method for providing a subscription service in a terminal installed with an instant messaging application by interworking with an application server is provided. The method comprises displaying recommendation boards recommended by the application server or boards published in a subscription channel on an interface screen, receiving a request for subscribing to a specific channel that has published the recommendation board, from a user, and transmitting information on a channel for which a subscription is requested to the application server and requesting registering as a subscription channel. Each board displayed on the interface screen is a content distribution unit that is composed of a board title and a plurality of contents, and is exposed along with a name of a channel having published a corresponding board. The channel publishing each board is an account that has subscribed to a service providing the instant messaging application.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for tracking a conversion of an advertisement provided through an application are disclosed. The method includes generating, in response to selection of an advertisement through a first application installed on a first user terminal, a click log including a first advertiser identifier corresponding to an advertiser of the advertisement and a first user identifier corresponding to the first user terminal, generating, in response to reading of an informational message through a second application installed on a second user terminal, a conversion log including a second advertiser identifier corresponding to a sender of the informational message and a second user identifier corresponding to the second user terminal, and tracking whether a conversion event occurs due to the advertisement by mapping the click log and the conversion log.

Abstract: A method of providing information on a social networking service (SNS) activity to a chatroom, performed by a user terminal, includes: transmitting, to a server, an SNS request for each of a plurality of anonymous profiles created to be interlinked with an account of a user for an instant messaging service (IMS); displaying information on an SNS activity performed through a first anonymous profile selected by the user in correspondence with a chatroom in which the user participates in the IMS, from among the plurality of anonymous profiles, in the chatroom; receiving an input of changing a profile of the user, selected corresponding to the to chatroom, from the first anonymous profile to a second anonymous profile; and displaying information on an SNS activity performed through the second anonymous profile in the chatroom.
