  • Patent number: 6383247
Abstract: A micronutrient-containing leaf fertilizer has magnesium sulfate heptahydrate as a carrier material in such an amount that a solid nutrient combination of 13% to 15% by weight MgO, 0% to 3.5% by weight boron, 0% to 6.5% by weight manganese and 10.3% to 14% by weight sulfur is obtained by solely admixing manganese sulfate monohydrate and boric acid with the carrier and this combination being converted into a diluted leaf fertilizer solution by adding water.

  • Patent number: 6379414
Abstract: A process is for the production of potash fertilizer granulates which have a stable shelf life also at high relative air humidities. This granulate contains an additive in the form of magnesium oxide and/or calcium oxide in a fine powder form, which is added by metering in prior to the compacting step. The result is a high final bursting strength even if the granulate is stored in a wet climate.

  • Patent number: 6011229
Abstract: An electrostatic separator of the free-fall type for classifying triboelectrically charged substance mixtures. This separator has a separate voltage source connected to each of the electrodes forming a pair of electrodes in such a way that the one voltage source supplies a positive voltage against ground potential and the other voltage source supplies a negative voltage against ground potential. This causes the potential difference against ground to be equal to zero in the center of the separator.

  • Patent number: 5687852
Abstract: A tubular free-fall separator for the electrostatic separation of particles of a plastics mixture, includes two parallel opposite rows of vertical tubes which are either arranged rotatably around their own axis or are fixedly installed and are connected with a direct current voltage source for maintaining an electrostatic field between the rows. The tube rows are arranged in such a manner that two adjacent axis points of the tubes of one row always form a parallelogram, which has no right angles, with the opposite adjacent two axis points of the tubes of the other row.

  • Patent number: 5614104
Abstract: Process for determining the sylvine saturation in which the salt concentration in the solid matter-free crude solution through temperature determination at a temperature T.sub.M >T, and subsequently after contacting with KCl at a temperature T.sub.NS >T and heating to T.sub.M, is measured again, and from this data a saturation temperature T.sub.S is obtained. The temperature difference T.sub.S -T serves as a measure for the sylvine saturation degree. In this manner, the sylvine saturation degree can automatically be measured in intervals of seconds and can serve as a control value for the addition of crude salt in a hot solution process.
